Chapter 5: Reunion (Part 1)

-Temple Of Resurrection-

Pythor slithered around the clean temple very impressed with his cleaning skills.

"I do say, this only took me a day" Pythor loudly bragged

'I know, you mentioned...ABOUT 16 TIMES!' Lee shouted

"Calm down" Pythor rolled his eyes

'Ugh, just make sure everything is ready because tomorrow we launch our attack on the Resistance!' Lee declared

"Yes, yes, yes everything is ready, Ultra Violet is gathering up SOG troops for your little speech as we speak" Pythor muttered

'Great, soon I will have my revenge on my brother and destroy his pathetic 'Resistance' and we will take over' He cried in the snake's head

-Resistance Base-

THAT EVENING...

Lloyd and Harumi sat in the lounge area and finally, after about 30 minutes of fiddling around with the it, managed to get the TV working. They sat down peacefully next to each other and watched an old show from the 90's. Most of the Resistance had gone to bed and some had gone out on a nightly patrol. 

"Lloyd, how are we going to defeat your Father?" Harumi asked out of nowhere, looking up at him

"I don't really know yet but we will find a way, we always do" Lloyd replied 

Harumi nodded slowly and continued to watch TV. It concerned her a bit that there was no plan of action but what plan could there be, all odds are against them and after Skylor got injured their only plan can be to just survive and not give up.

As the pair continued to watch the show Harumi unknowingly rested her head on Lloyds shoulder and soon fell asleep. This went completely unnoticed by Lloyd and he carried on watching the show until it ended. He smiled and turned off the TV and went to get up but felt a light force pulling him down. He looked over to his left and saw Harumi had not only fallen asleep on his shoulder but was also hugging his arm. Lloyd instantly felt his cheeks heat up at the sight and attempted to gently lift her off but every time he would do so she would start to stir and occasionally groan in slight annoyance. Not wanting to wake her up, Lloyd reluctantly closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep.

-Borg Tower-

Killow nervously stumbled onto the dark roof of Borg Tower until he reached Emperor Garmadon's throne which the Oni Lord was sitting on and bowed

 "Y...you summoned me Emperor" he stuttered in fear

"Seeing as how nervous you are I'm guessing you know why I've summoned you, if for some reason you don't know let me spell it out for you..." Garmadon started

"YOU HAVN'T BROUGHT ME THAT SPIRIT NOR HAVE YOU LOCATED THE QUIET ONE AND NOW ULTRA VIOLET HAS GONE MISSING AS WELL!" He roared as dark purple flames spread across his body

"I...I know my Emperor  but this 'spirit' is hard to locate and-"

"No more excuses!" Garmadon interrupted him and used his dark power to lift the terrified General in the air.

The Lord of Destruction dangled Killow over the edge of the tall building as small black tentacles started to wrap around Killow's body. Killow suddenly felt his throat become extremely tight and realized he could no longer breath. He kicked his legs vigorously as his face slowly turned red.

"Plef...dfmdd" He tried to plead for his life but it came out as inaudible wheezes

 Emperor Garmadon stared coldly into the Generals eyes and reluctantly dropped him down on the floor in front of him. He watched as the pathetic General started to desperately catch his breath until he could speak again and Garmadon turned to walk off.
