August 1994

Hannah's bump had become noticeable, Bill did the best he could to step in and play the soon to be granddad.

Neither were sure what was happening now that the article about Belle and her one night with Alytain was out and published. Neither knew what to expect, they were both thankful that Hannah's face hadn't been printed in the article, Hannah was thankful that her real name wasn't published in the article.

Bill rose up from his seat in the lounge room, he stepped over to the front door.

Hannah lifted her gaze up from the tv as she heard him open the door.

"Is this the home of Belle?"

Hannah slowly rose up to her feet.

"Can we help you?" Bill asked.

Hannah slowly crept forward towards the front door; she peered her head around the corner. She could see her dad trying to block the door from being fully open.

"Artisan gave us this address."

Bill sighed "Sometimes that boy can't be trusted." He kept his firm stance "What can we help you with?"

"I'm Alytain's manager, Avros Davis and we've come to prove that Belle is lying."

Bill scoffed "I highly doubt my daughter is lying. She went to his concert, and now nearly five months later she's pregnant. You do the math."

"You sure? We have proof that my client doesn't know who that woman is."

Bill scoffed again "Proof. Oh yeah, what's the proof? My daughter's face isn't in the article."

"Exactly. Clearly you don't know your daughter as well as you think."

"Excuse me!?" Bill let the fumes escape from his firm stance.

"Dad?"

Bill peered his head around to Hannah.

Avros could make a peek of Hannah standing a short distance from the front door, he remembered her.

"It's fine, sweetheart. Get back in the lounge room."

Avros watched as Hannah shifted her hands to her stomach.

Avros swallowed his pride "Sometimes daddy's little girls aren't always what we believe them to be."

"Don't you dare." Bill switched his attention to Avros.

Bill pushed the door open "Hannah, tell Avros here that your not lying that you did end up at Alytain's hotel room."

Hannah swallowed hard as she stepped forward, she barely recognised Avros. "My friend, Emmy and I were escorted backstage." She could feel her lower lip tremble, she had repeated her memory over and over but right in this moment it had seemed she forget her own story "The next morning, I woke up with Alytain by my side."

Avros wanted to call Hannah a liar but knew she was telling the truth; he was the one who kept her forgetful during the night.

Avros shifted his attention to the car parked out the front of the Winchester residence before shifting his attention back to Hannah and Bill.

Hannah waited by her dad's side; she noticed a car door open. She noticed Alytain stepping out and walking towards them.

Alytain seemed so out of place in a neighbourhood that wasn't gated or filled with sneaky paparazzi.

Alytain stepped up closer to the front door "Belle?"

"Clearly your client remembers my daughter." Bill let his snide comment be heard.

Alytain's eyes dropped down to Hannah's stomach, he wasn't sure how to react. No woman he had ever been with had come forward, let alone spoken publicly about having his child.

"I'm sure we can come to some agreement." Avros calmly spoke. He still refused to openly admit he was wrong.
