Hannah couldn't sleep as she laid next to Channing, she didn't know how she was going to undo one massive, filled lie.
She lowered her gaze down to her stomach. One massive, filled lie. One massive filled public lie.
Now she was starting to unravel.
She knew she was only buying time.
Hannah grabbed her phone from her bedside table before sneaking out of the bedroom she shared with Alytain, she dialled her dad's number before making her way down the stairs.
Hannah sat down in the kitchen, she listened to the phone ring.
"Winchester Residence, Bill speaking."
"Do you still not have my number saved?" Hannah complained.
"Hannah."
"Yeah, dad."
"Isn't it late there?"
"Yeah, dad."
"Are you okay?"
Hannah sighed.
"Hannah?"
"I'm stuck."
"Hannah."
"Dad, I'm stuck. You were right. It's going to come undone, and I don't know how to fix it."
"Sweetheart, what are you talking about?"
"Everything. You were right."
Bill didn't need to know the full story; he already knew what she was talking about. He already knew Hannah was coming to the realisation of her lies.
"Alytain's here. Channing's here. It was a lot easier when Alytain was away but now his taking a break from music. His staying here."
"His with you now?"
"No. I'm with Channing."
"Hannah."
"Dad, I need you."
Bill held back his sigh; he had promised himself that he'd do anything to protect his only child, but he knew this was something he couldn't help her with. He knew she needed to learn how to undo by herself.
"What am I supposed to do..." Hannah trailed off as she looked up "Sorry, did I wake you?"
"Oh, no. It's fine. I was just wondering where you were."
Bill heard Channing's voice.
"Dad just called, and you know, thought I'd take it down here rather than keep you awake."
"Tell Bill I said hi."
"Channing says hi."
"Dad, Channing says hi."
"I heard, sweetheart."
"Dad says hi and sorry for calling late."
Channing smiled a little.
"Go back to bed, I won't be long." She watched as Channing yawned a little.
"Alright. Bye Bill."
"Dad says bye." Hannah lied.
"Hannah, I can't do anything. I don't know what you want me to do."
Hannah closed her eyes as she soaked in the silence and her father's words "Please, dad. Just tell me that you told me so."
"I can't. I have never once told you so, I have always let you find your own ways to understand your mistakes."
"Dad." Hannah felt like she was begging. "Maybe you could come down again."
"Hannah."
"I'm having twins. Channing and I could really do with the extra hands."
"Hannah."
"Please dad, what about your grandkids?" She heard the line go quiet "Dad?"
"Are you going to make the twins live with me, like Harley and Meredith?"
Hannah went silent.
"Hannah. I'm serious. I'm too old to take in young children, especially two babies."
"Well, just come down. Come see your grandchildren."
Bill sighed "Sweetheart, we'll talk later. You need to figure this out. I love you. Now get some rest. It's not good for the twins."
Hannah sighed "I love you." She heard the phone line cut out.
She sat alone in the kitchen as she let tears roll down her cheeks.
