Meredith was excited to finally be with her dad again, she was excited wrap her arms around him and never let go.

Hannah could feel her nerves travel through her body as she kissed Channing bye for the day, she couldn't promise him when they'd be back, but she did promise him that she'd come back to him.
"I love you." Hannah whispered to Channing, there was truth in her words.
"I love you." There was uncertainty in Channing's words, he had been told she didn't love her ex, but he knew deep down that Hannah was hiding something from him.
Channing assumed that he knew Hannah couldn't easily get over a man that was still going to be involved in her life until the end of days.
