The private gardens consisted of a hedge line of beautiful red roses surrounding a gazebo of wooden benches. Sebastian and Ciel followed Claude as he carried Alois through the maze of hedges to the gazebo, where they would be undisturbed. Ciel looked up at Sebastian as they followed and whispered quietly.
"I feel like we're in trouble... like we've been sent to the principal's office." Sebastian laughed quietly and shook his head; he still held Ciel's little hand gently in his own and squeezed his fingers.
"Claude is not a principal... he's barely a butler." The bluenette laughed quietly and Trancy looked back at them from Claude's arms. As they approached the gazebo, Alois squirmed from his butler's grasp and went inside, tossing himself down on one of the benches, arms thrown above his head, arching his back sharply, looking over at the others suggestively as they entered. Claude barely glanced at him and took a seat on the next bench; Sebastian seated himself across from them and pulled Ciel into his lap. The young Lord shifted gently on his thighs until he was comfortable, leaning against the arm that wrapped around his back; he crossed his knees demurely and straightened his skirts, hands clasped in his lap.
"Why did you bring us here?" Ciel asked, eyeing both Alois and Claude, mistrusting of their motives. Trancy stood, slipping off his tailcoat and tossing it at Claude, who frowned and folded it, placing it carefully on the bench beside him.
"Because I'm tired of waiting..." Alois stepped slowly towards the bluenette and his butler, putting on a show of his movements, hooded eyes gazing at the two of them seductively. "And you've teased me long enough." Trancy slipped a finger under Ciel's chin and winked. "And you..." he looked at Sebastian, licking his lips slowly. "I've been waiting for a turn with you..." Ciel scoffed loudly and shook his head, placing a hand against Sebastian's chest.
"How many times must I tell you? No. You will not have him." Alois frowned, hands on his hips and pouted as he stood before them.
"Why not? You're far too attached to your butler."
"Sebastian is not..." Ciel paused, lowering his eyes. "It doesn't matter. I said no. I meant it. And I'm quite finished allowing you to lust after him as you do. Fuck your own butler, you will not have mine." Sebastian did his best not to smile, slipping a hand under Ciel's skirt and tracing gloved fingers gently over his thigh. Ciel looked at him sharply, and the demon smiled, licking his lips as he looked away. Claude eyed them both, frowning, drawing his own conclusions and Alois glared at them.
"Your Highness." Claude said quietly. He stood and approached, placing a hand on Alois' waist, pulling him away from the others. Alois pouted up at him and Claude rolled his eyes, pulling the blonde into his lap as he sat, arm around his waist to keep him there. "Your efforts are wasted here. You will not get your way." Sky blue eyes glared up at Claude and he shook his head.
"But..." Before Alois could speak, Claude continued.
"Look at them, your Highness. Really look." The blonde did as he was told. The way Sebastian was smiling at Ciel; the blush that rose to Ciel's cheeks in response; it was obvious. Sebastian reached up and stroked the bluenette's cheek with his fingertip and Ciel laughed, swatting the hand away. They had long since stopped paying attention to anything outside of each other, and Alois frowned. "They're in love." Claude said softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Love?"
"Yes. Trust me, your Highness. I can smell it on them." Alois looked back to Claude, crawling all over him until he sat comfortably on his lap, arms wrapped around his shoulders.
"You told me demons can't love."
"... what one cannot do versus what one should do are often one in the same." Alois started to protest such a cryptic answer, but Claude shook his head. "You'd best pay attention. There is a lesson to be learned here." Alois frowned and looked back to the others. Ciel was whispering quietly into Sebastian's ear and the demon smiled, chuckling softly.
