Remus brought his hand up to my gloved one. I know that what I say next will be a turning point in my relationship with all of them, especially Remus. I need to be very careful choosing my next words.

"I will be whoever Thomas wants me to be. If that's pride, so be it but I won't completely drop who I am today. If it's creativity, then so be it but I won't let my enormous ego get in the way of Remus doing his function and I won't completely drop who I used to be. I am Princeton. I am Roman. I am me."

That seemed to be a good enough answer for them, as they all nodded their heads in approval. Remus even looked up at me with a genuine smile.

It wasn't soon before I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned my head to the right and saw who the hand belonged to. It was Patton.

When did he stand up? I need to start being more observant.

"Um... Roman..."

I placed my left hand on his and squeezed it reassuringly. I could've sworn I saw a slight blush appear on his face but I could just be seeing things.

"Yes? What is it?"

He pulled his eyes away from my own.

"It's... it's about Thomas."

My smile dropped.

"What about Thomas? Is something wrong?"

He glanced around at the other sides and I followed his actions.

They all shared the same solemn look, except for Remus who looked like he had no clue what's going on.

Patton pulled his hand out from under mine and off of my shoulder and backed away as if he was scared. What is going on here??

Logan stood up from his chair and headed over to me and placed his hand on my other shoulder.

"Roman, why don't you sit down?"

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THOMAS?!

Is he sick?! I know that he's not dead because we're all still here and we're all still alive so what could it be?!

Logan carefully pushed me to the couch and all the other sides followed. Logan was to the right of me, Patton to the left of me, Virgil sitting on the back of the couch beside my head to the left of me, and remus sitting on the table in front of me.

"Guys you're scaring me, what's going on?"

Logan and Patton grabbed my hands while i could feel Virgil playing with my hair. They're trying to get me to feel better when they haven't even told me what's wrong. Virgil was the one to break the long silence.

"Prince, Thomas is... kinda upset right now."

I turned my head to face him.

"Upset? What is he upset about?"

Virgil took a deep breath before continuing. He stopped playing with my hair.

"We kinda told him... everything?"

My heart dropped.

Everything?! What does he mean by everything?! What does everything even mean in this sense?!

Logan squeezed my right hand which brought my gaze towards him.

"What he's trying to say is, we told Thomas about everything about your past. Well, more or less Virgil did all the talking-"

Virgil smacked the back of Logan's head which caused Logan to let go on my hand and to place both of his hands where he had just been struck.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"Cause you just threw me under the bus!"

I chuckled at those two bickering as I looked over to my left to see if I could get any answers out of Patton. I was bet with soft, scared eyes telling me that he really didn't want to tell me what is going on, but he seems to be the only option right now. Logan and Virgil are arguing and I doubt Remus has any idea what's going on so Patton will have to do.

"Patton, will you please tell me what's going on?

I squeezed his hand reassuringly once again as he began to talk.

"Well... it all started when you left. Virgil went to your room, I assume to check up on you when he started screaming."

Yeah that sounds like something Virgil would do.

"So Logan and I rushed upstairs to see what was wrong and Virgil said you left and went back home. We pestered him with questions until he told us everything, all of your secrets that were kept hidden for so long, I don't know how you did it."

Oh yeah, I never asked him and Logan how they felt about my past. I'll have to ask them later because I'm pretty sure now is not the time.

"We then all got summoned to Thomas with him telling us that something was wrong. He started going on about how his "good creativity" wasn't working and eventually pieced together that it was because you weren't there. So he asked us where you were and we let Virgil do all the talking because Logan and I didn't want to get the story wrong."

I have a feeling I know where this is going.

"Roman he... Thomas is mad at you."

Yep, there it is.

"Mad at me? Why?"

Why did I ask that? I already know why.

"He's mad you lied to him and he's mad that you are/were a dark side."

I sat back further into the couch, slightly leaning on Virgil in the process. Me doing this had caught his attention and his and Logan's bickering came to an abrupt halt.

What??

The lying part I could guessed but the dark side part got me.

Why would he be mad about something like that? Especially when Virgil used to be one himself? And he knows Virgil used to be a dark side so why would it bother him that I'm one/was one too? That just doesn't make any sense.

I felt a hand on my head and fingers interlacing with mine on the right side of my body. I look to see that we now have Logan and Virgils undivided attention. I don't think I'll ever get used to this new found attention.

I looked back at Patton before prompting him with a question.

"Why would he be upset about me being a dark side?"
