None of this is making any sense, why would Thomas be mad at me for being a dark side? I mean, is it because I've deceived him for so long? Well he's starting to accept Janus for who he is (by now all recent events with Thomas and Janus have happened I just don't want to write it out. Roman wasn't actually hurt that bad by Janus' words, he's just dramatic) so I don't know why he would be mad at ME for lying.
Well, then again he's known me for forever and he only met Janus a few years ago.
Not to mention he accepted Virgil a LONG time ago AND acknowledges that Virgil is no longer a dark side so what's the problem?
Is he mad that I went back to the dark side?? Is that it?? I guess it's best to just confront Thomas to hear exactly what the issue is so I can hear it straight from the horse's mouth!
I swiftly stood up causing the three others around me to jump a little bit in surprise. I had even caught the attention of my brother who is now on the other side of the room messing with the lights.
No matter how much he can fool the others with his care free act, he can't fool me. I can see that sour look on his face and tell he's deeply troubled by everything that's happening. I'll have to talk to him about it later.
I turned around to see three pairs of eyes staring at me with anticipation, waiting for what I'm going to say or do next.
"Well let's go see him!"
The three of them glanced at each other and blinked a few times in surprise. I can tell, that is not what they expected me to say. Patton now stood up and slowly got closer to me.
"Uh, kiddo... are you sure?"
"Yep! What better way to get the answer then to ask the one who's causing the issue for me?"
Logan was the next to stand up, coming up to me and placing a hand on my shoulder.
"I have to agree with Patton here. We're not too sure how this is going to go. Thomas seems pretty upset and I know how you can get... uh... 'heated' sometimes."
I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous. I'm thinking about confronting the man I've spend years trying to impress and depending on how this goes, I might potentially throw all of that out the window.
"Yep! Let's go!"
Virgil reluctantly stood up and stood next to us. The four of us turned to Remus and I gave him a questioning look silently asking if he's going to be joining us or not. He responded by shaking his head, looking very down. The three looked at me in confusion on the silent conversation going on but before they could ask me what was going on, I had already sunk down.
I had appeared into Thomas's living room to find him sitting on the couch, staring at the wall completely zoned out. I took a step toward him and cleared my throat, getting his attention.
The glaze over Thomas's eyes instantly cleared up as he snapped his gaze towards me, his eyes narrowing the moment he realized who was standing before him. He scooted away almost defensively as if he was an animal being backed up into a corner.
"Hello Thomas."
"You... you...... what the fuck happened to you?!"
He gestured toward my outfit.
"Ah yes, I guess I do have a different appearance don't I? I guess so could go back to my other clothes but I think this one is a bit more my style, don't you think?"
Thomas scoffed at me and stood up, something I was not expecting. I can tell he's getting angrier by the second.
"No! I don't think this shitty outfit is more your style! Your style, is the normal white outfit that you've always had! Roman, I don't know what the fuck you've done, but I know that this isn't you."
"Uh, news flash Thomas, the other outfit actually came AFTER this one! And yes, this IS me! This is who I was before I felt like I had to change myself to fit your standards and guess where that got me? Here! Having this conversation with you! Which I do not want be having!"
He took a step towards me and I tried to not appear weak or scared, but I think he can see right through me. I turn around to see that I'm all alone.
Why haven't the others shown up yet?
