Virgil's POV:
I'm not gonna lie, I felt bad for the guy. I've been treating him like garbage lately, even though I've known that this is the time that he needs me- help the most. If anyone knew what he is going through right now, it would be me. After that stunt that he pulled, fainting the moment he got down the stairs like that, it would be enough to send anyone into a panic. I just didn't that it was THAT bad. Truth be told, I'm really worried, and I care about him, a lot actually. It's just I know he's been considering leaving the light sides, and the thought of him actually going back to his old life is enough to send shivers down my spine.
"Virgil, are you feeling okay? You appear to be rather distressed."
I look to my right, to the opposite side of the couch to see a rather puzzled looking Logan staring at me.
"I mean, no not really. It's just I'm worried about Roman you know?"
Logan put down the book he was reading and pushed his glasses all the way up his face.
"Ah yes, what happened earlier when Roman fainted at the stairs was quite, scary. And he has been acting a bit, different lately. I've noticed he's been looking a lot more stressed then usual and he's been a lot more jumpy lately. Thomas's sense of "good" creativity has slowed almost to a stop. I guess you could say that what Roman is going through, could be quite alarming."
He turned his head to the side before muttering something that I barely heard.
"For all of us."
Logan picked his book back up again and started reading as if he never stopped in the first place.
That did it, maybe I just haven't been very observant, but that does seem very very alarming. I should've seen the signs sooner. Oh god, I hope he's okay. I'm going to go check up on him.
I almost stood up, but stopped myself to look at Logan once again. He wasn't paying any attention now, but I still squinted my eyes at him nonetheless. What he said kind of insinuated that he knows what Roman is going through, has he known the whole time? What if he has just kept quiet and just left Patton to be oblivious? What if Patton knows too? Is that why he's so protective of us and treats us like his children? No stop, focus on Roman for right now. You haven't checked up on him all day.
I got up from my seat on the couch and slowly made my way up the stairs to Roman's room. Before I rounded the corner at the top of the stairs, I saw Logan looking at me out of the corner of my eye. He had a look of genuine fear on his face. Was it for Roman? For me? I don't know but now isn't the time to ask. I think he knows something is wrong, at least.
Maybe it was just me being paranoid, but the entire hallway upstairs looked darker, as if I was in the dark side of Thomas's brain. It was eerily quiet, normally I'd hear Princey singing Disney songs really loudly, and it's so weird not having him being a noise maker. I reached his room and knocked on his door.
"Roman? You awake?"
No response.
Okay that's a little weird. He always answers the door or at least says something through the door. I knocked on the door again.
"Hey bud, I'm just checking to make sure you're okay."
No response again.
Okay now I'm getting worried. I knocked on his door again, but a lot harder.
"Listen Roman, if you don't answer me, I'm coming in there."
No response, yet again.
He's probably sleeping, which is concerning because he's been sleeping for about 16 hours now.
