Origins of Hotel Cryptid

Juniper heard a loud thud come from the floor above her. She quickly went there, in case a guest needs help. Hotel Cryptid policy is to always help guests. Juniper walks down the hall and sees Dahlia holding a knife to Tobias, who is on the ground, grinning. "Oh sweet Mary Anne Beth", Juniper mutters.

"What's going on here?", Juniper crosses her arms. "He wouldn't leave me alone", Dahlia states, gritting her teeth. "Dahlia, let's go", Juniper simply states, not even wanting to hear what's going on. "But-", Dahlia starts. Holding up her hand, "No. Let's go", Juniper stops her. "Fine". Dahlia puts away her knife and follows Juniper out.

Juniper, being pretty much head of this damn hotel, sent Dahlia to her room. Seriously, Dahlia looked like a mad three year old. Juniper was just annoyed. Everyone knows not to provoke Tobias. Juniper decided to calm down and look out windows. She saw a dad and a daughter playing together.

"Daddy!", A little girl's voice called. A blonde little girl came running over to Tobias, arms wide open. Tobias picked  her up and twirled her around as his wife, Mary Anne Beth walked over to them. "How's the hotel plan coming along, dear?", Mary Anne Beth asks her working husband. They were making a hotel that suited all ages. They wanted their daughter, whom they called Jay-Jay, to have friends. They also wanted a place to suit others in need. "Oh just fine darling. What's Jay-Jay doing out of bed?", Tobias asks his wife. "She wanted you to read her a bedtime story. So she dragged me with her to find you", Mary Anne Beth explains the reason their daughter is up past her bed time.  It was true, Jay-Jay wanted her dad to read her a bedtime story, even though he was working. Jay-Jay was five years old and living in their house, just a bit away from the hotel her dad is building. They let Jay-Jay help with the deciding of the name. They landed on 'Hotel Cryptid'.

Tobias brought his wife and his daughter to her room. They both put their daughter to bed. "What story do you want me to read, sweetie?", Tobias asks his young daughter, sitting at the end of her bed. Mary Anne Beth sat across from Tobias. "pick one!", Jay-Jay cheered. Tobias did as told and picked a random one. He read it to her and soon enough, Jay-Jay was out cold. Sound asleep, Jay-Jay looked peaceful. Tobias looked over at his wife. Mary Anne Beth was a beautiful lady. Long blonde hair that matched Jay-Jay's hair. Mary Anne Beth's hair curled a little at the end. She smiled at her little girl. Her smile was small and sweet. It made Tobias smiled. Mary Anne Beth's skin was pale, with a singular scar going under her left cheek. No one really knows how she got it.

On the other hand, Tobias has black hair that curls slightly. He had dark green snake-like eyes. 

Tobias, instead of saying something like, "Sweet Jesus", he says, "Sweet Mary Anne Beth". He says that because she is his goddess and life. It makes her blush every time. The funny part is that Jay-Jay has started saying it as well. Just because she keeps hearing Tobias say it. Quietly, Tobias and Mary Anne Beth both leave their daughter's room.

"Juniper!", A voice calls. She looks over to see Aria walking over to her. "What is it?", She asks, concerned. "Something happened to Beckett".
