"...I wasn't aware that you knew so many owl puns, Seokjin."
Said man winked at Namjoon, "I'm glad you're impressed. Should I tell another one?"
Hoseok crossed his arms together to make an 'x' across his chest, "No, no more!"
"Please, no more!" Taehyung copied his 'x'.
After changing their clothes, the committee members got special permission from Headmaster Boo to miss their next class. However, since Jimin had his own plans, he wasn't around to get permission.
Namjoon held open the door to the committee room and let everyone walk inside. Their attention was immediately drawn to the chalkboard in front of the classroom.
Growing curious, Namjoon walked in to see what they were looking at.
The room had visitors while they were out, and these visitors so kindly left a message on the board:
'CHOIR BOY$ RULE, WATER CLOSET DROOLZ'
You could hear the pout in Namjoon's voice, "I wish he'd stop calling us water closet."
The joke sprouted after Headmaster Boo abbreviated the term 'welcoming committee' to 'w.c.' for short. That led to the choir boys saying it stood for 'water closet'... An old term for a restroom.
"He drew the toilet really well this time!" Seokjin pointed out.
"Who's 'he'?" Hoseok asked.
"Kim Sio from Choir," Namjoon said, huffing out a frustrated breath. "He's always trying to upset us!"
"Actually, all of his jokes are directed at you," Seokjin laughed, "He's a jokester."
"Right so," Taehyung started. Everyone turned to look at him, "Aren't you going to tell us what happened, Seokjin?"
Sulky Namjoon picked up the chalk eraser and began cleaning off the message and toilet drawing.
"Ooh, yeah!" Hoseok leaned over his desk in excitement. "I wanna know!"
"It's not that exciting, guys," Seokjin waved it off. "But if you insist- There I was, famished and exhausted from traveling-"
He retold the story as dramatically as he could to get a few laughs out of his friends. It worked, of course, Seokjin is naturally amusing. Before he could get to the important part, someone interrupted.
"Hey, where did Jimin go again?" Hoseok interrupted. "A film set?"
"Yes, to see his dad," Seokjin briefly answered. "Anyway, I started hearing footsteps, and turns out the thief was right behind me completely invisible!"
"WHAT?"
Hoseok and Namjoon said simultaneously. The latter dropped the eraser on the ground with a soft 'thud'.
"No way this is true," Taehyung said in denial.
"Yes, way it's true! Jimin saw it, too, if you don't believe me," Seokjin directed at Taehyung. "Anyway, this invisible guy still had my wallet so we chased him down until he just...stopped. I threw dirt at him and I guess that distracted him from staying invisible. We got a full view of him."
"He must have a crystal, too," Namjoon surmised. "Did you see his eyes glow or anything like that?"
"I didn't, but Jimin did."
"Interesting."
"Who knew having powers was this common," Hoseok added.
Taehyung was still suspicious of his friend since he's known for his theatrics, "If you're making this up, Seokjin..."
