It took a few minutes of wandering to find the police station, but Seokjin eventually spotted the white building in the distance.

"Ugggghh....my feet are starting to hurt," he complained theatrically. Jimin simply laughed at him and pointed towards a wooden bench nearby.

"Ah, perfect," Seokjin plopped down and put his phone in his pocket.

"Now we wait!" Jimin grinned, plopping down next to him.

"Now we wait."

"I hope we don't have to wait for long..."

To kill time, Jimin began texting someone on his phone. When he giggled shyly at something, Seokjin peeked over his shoulder to see what he was doing.

He saw the name 'Heeyoung' at the top of the screen.

"Are you dating Lim Heeyoung?"

Jimin almost dropped his phone as he noticed his friend's peeping eyes. He recovered quickly and shook his head.

"We're just friends! We don't even like each other like that."

"Right...I can tell you're lying."

Jimin's ears were going red, a clear tell that he was lying, "I'm not lying!"

Keeping up this act was impossible when his friends knew him too well. Jimin decided to just be honest.

"Okay...we're dating and we have a date today but it's supposed to be a secret-"

"You have a date, congrats!" the taller student patted the other on his back. "But why would you want it to be a secret?"

If Seokjin knew anything about Jimin, it's that he wears his heart on his sleeve. He's shy sometimes, but never secretive.

"...Heeyoung's afraid that her dad will find out. Apparently, he wants her to date after she graduates from college," Jimin raked his fingers through his hair. "He'd kill me if he knew I was with her!"

The female welcoming committee president's dad is a well-respected wrestler. He's so tall that he's a few inches away from being considered a giant. If he found out about Jimin dating his daughter, he might actually kill him.

"I won't tell anyone, but you guys are super obvious."

"Seriously?" Jimin frowned, "I can't help it..."

"You know what? I'll help you keep it a secret," his friend proudly declared.

"Thank you, Jin," the corners of his eyes crinkled from his smile, "I'm so lucky to have a friend like you!"

"Yes, you are. When's your date anyways?"

"In 20 minutes..."

"What are you doing here then?!"

"I promised Taehyung to help..."

Before Seokjin could get a word in, Jimin's eyes lit up enthusiastically.

"Hey, can I show you the pictures we took last night? It was in the school garden," He beamed as he searched for the pictures in his phone's gallery, "I almost fell in the pond, but she caught me."

He wasn't trying to get a laugh out of Seokjin but that's exactly what happened.

After a few minutes of Jimin raving on and on about him and Heeyoung, Seokjin started feeling uneasy. They were alone (which he checked three times) but it felt like someone was watching them.

"Are you okay?" The brunette asked. He put his phone away when he noticed his friend's distracted glances.

"Uh...yeah."
