"-and you won't believe me, Mark. I kid you not, yesterday I met some interesting teens."

"Uh... Is that so?"

"Yes! Yesterday was my daughter's 8th birthday so we took her to the park-"

Jungkook walked up to his friend who was heavily invested in his phone. He noticed the news logo at the bottom of the screen before deciding to interrupt him.

"What are you watching?"

Slightly startled, Yoongi took out his earphones and looked at the doe-eyed boy. "The news. I'm trying to see if there'll be a thunderstorm today."

Jungkook blinked a few times before he pulled out his phone. After some quick typing, he spoke, "Nope, no storms."

He knows Jungkook is only trying to help, but he already checked his phone for the news. That's why he was watching a less popular news station to try to confirm his suspicions.

"I know there's going to be a storm. That report is wrong," he mumbled.

The curious boy took a seat in the chair beside Yoongi. They were in the extra music room during breakfast- as usual- and no teachers were around. The usual music teacher was as old as time so she spent a lot of time sleeping in the teacher's lounge.

"Why are you worried about the weather? ...Do you have plans later?"

"Plans?"

Yoongi wondered if hiding under his blankets until the lightning went away counted as 'plans'.

"Not really. Just interested in the weather, I guess. I don't want to get soaked."

Jungkook felt the conversation dull, so he took out his guitar from its case and looked at his friend expectantly.

When Yoongi made eye contact with his friend's pleading eyes, he snickered in return. He swears Jungkook asks him to play every chance he can.

"How are you supposed to get better if you only want me to play it?"

"I'm a visual learner," he smiled and held out the instrument to him.

"You play better than me- There's nothing you can learn from me."

Jungkook pulled the guitar back towards him. He thought Yoongi played pretty well, so that was most definitely a compliment.

Yoongi turned his phone off and looked back at his friend, "Shouldn't you be worrying about swim tryouts?"

"I guess..." Jungkook mumbled. He leaned over his guitar to try to block out his friend's stare.

He was leaning so far that Yoongi raised an eyebrow at his behavior.

"Are you trying to play your guitar with your eyelashes?" Yoongi shook his head, "My back hurts just looking at you."

Just to be funny, Jungkook straightened his back and put the guitar fretboard up to his eyes. Yoongi burst out laughing when he tried playing the guitar with his eyelashes.

Jungkook continued blinking his eyes over his guitar strings until Yoongi pulled it away from him.

"Okay, okay," Yoongi's laughs faded into a smile, "I'll play a song."

Before the school bell chimed for the last time that day, the intercom called for Jungkook to go to the main office.

All of his classmates stared at him curiously as if he'd tell them what was going on. Even if he knew why he was called, he still wouldn't tell them.

The walk to the office was quiet with Jungkook staring at his feet the entire time. He told his parents about the swim tryouts only a few hours ago to make sure they wouldn't have time to attend.
