Hoseok peered down at the orange and black plaid hoodie covering his body. He lifted his head to see Jimin in a black tracksuit jacket, while Seokjin wore a white one. Taehyung changed into a baggy blue button-up with white buttons and Namjoon wore a green hoodie that read 'I ❤️ FISHING' in English. Luckily for them, their uniforms required all-black slacks that weren't too uncomfortable to move in. The only thing showing now were their eyes.
No one questioned why Mr. Goh had so many beanies and masks because their minds were occupied; On the other side of the machines was the criminal they needed to stop.
Jimin and Hoseok were crouching behind said machines, waiting. The patient look on Hoseok's face was a stark contrast to Jimin's panicked expression. He didn't like how the plan relied so heavily on him. Out of everyone he was the only powerless one, so why did Namjoon put so much trust in him?
He recalled the conversation they had while changing.
"When Hoseok pulls the gun away he might try to run away. He could also try to hurt the worker. That's where you come in, Jimin. You've taken taekwondo for 7 years now, you're our best fighter."
"...Okay," Jimin's voice wavered.
It seemed Namjoon's mind was going into overdrive to think of a plan ASAP.
"Seokjin, as soon as you get Mr. Goh somewhere safe, contact the police. Do not use our real names or identities ever."
"Got it."
"Taehyung you're with me." Namjoon pointed to the camera in the corner of the ceiling, "Our faces are all over those cameras- they have to go."
"Understood, Boss."
Jimin pulled on his beanie, making sure it was secure.
"I need more! I know you keep another register here!" The man yelled, his bag barely carrying any money.
"I don't h-have access-"
"Get access or I'll shoot!"
The cashier held her hands up as she shakingly stepped out from behind the counter, all the while the criminal kept the gun aimed at her head.
"Here goes nothing..." Hoseok couldn't help but whisper.
Hoseok yanked his hand as if he were taking the gun from him directly.
"What?!" The criminal watched as his pistol flew out of his hands and slid across the floor to a row of machines.
Confusion filled Hoseok's mind the longer he stared at the weapon.
"Ah!"
Jimin foolishly ran out there, forgetting to see if it was safe. Helplessly, the cashier was being held in a chokehold clearly to keep Jimin at a distance.
The ski-masked criminal pointed a short-barreled pistol at Jimin immediately.
"Stop or I'll- I'll shoot you both!" Out of options, Jimin lifted his hands slowly in the air. The criminal put the gun to the cashier's temple, "Now, tell me how you did that."
"Did what?"
"You took my gun- Now tell me!"
His intense stare was full of genuine shock. Jimin wasn't sure what he was supposed to do against a second gun. Namjoon never mentioned that possibility.
The gun pointed at Jimin, "You've got three seconds before I-"
His grip loosened unintentionally as the weapon flew from his hand; this time it went further into the building than the last.
