billie felt her heart drop when her eyes landed on her two friends. reese quickly moved her hands from away billie's waist while billie looked down embarrassed.

"i'm- i'm gonna go," reese mumbled. "um, thanks for the shirt."

"yeah, yep-" billie nodded and let reese brush past her two friends and leave the room.

"you are gay! i fucking knew it!" drew squealed. "i'm not!," billie got defensive immediately.

"i... just like reese." she smoothed down her skirt and sat back down on the bed. "please don't say anything? please?"

"of course we won't. you don't even have to ask that." zoe told her.

"thank you. i was- well, i was planning to tell you guys."

"nah, you weren't." drew laughed, making billie laugh with her. "i'm just confused and i feel so alone right now."

"if you're talking about alone with being gay--," drew stopped when billie glared at her, because of her word choice. "sorry, not gay, got it."

"but i'm just saying you're not alone, 'cause me and zoe like girls too."

"and we're together." zoe sighed, reaching over to grab drew's hand, squeezing it lightly.

billie nodded slowly and blinked a few times. "you two are uhm, g- like girls?"

"gay, yes. and just like you with reese, we like each other. more than like, love. i love drew."

drew smiled at her girlfriend's affection while billie stammered, "why? why didn't you guys tell me?"

"we didn't know how'd you react, i mean you're a breathe all christian type of chick. you're our best friend, we didn't want to lose you."

"you weren't gonna lose me...," billie sighed. "or whatever."

"you know it's not a bad thing, what you feel? It's normal and okay. You don't need to be ashamed of it."

"i'm not ashamed, okay! i'm just- I just am confused about everything."

"so let's talk about it."

"will you guys open the door, it's freezing out he-" reese was cut off by the front door flying open.

"get in here." carina sighed heavily, pulling the sixteen year old girl in for a tight hug, but let go when reese let out a painful groan.

"wha-, are you fine," carina asked, glancing up and spotting reese's face. "reese cooper! what the hell were you out doing?"

"nothing! nothing, lady, i'm fine. i'm gonna head to bed now, night." reese let herself into the house and tried to go upstairs, but she was stopped when maya came down the stairs also.
