“What the fuck are you doing?”
The man grabbed the phone from Danielle’s hand to get a better look at the screen.
“Were you trying to text someone?” he questioned in a loud tone. “Are you crazy?”
“I wasn’t. I swear I wasn’t.” Danielle quickly said, looking up at Robber B. “I’m not stupid.”
He looked between her and the phone screen a twice before shaking his head. He figured he’d let it slide since there were no messages sent out nor was anything being typed. Jake quickly handed his phone back to him before to avoid any misunderstanding.
“Are you okay?” Jaked asked once the man walked away.
“Yea I’m fine.” She replied with her eyes close, running her hand over her forehead. “I hate this. Stefania and our friends must be so worried. Its’ no coincidence that they are all trying to get a hold of us all at the same time.”
“Yea I figured too, and they must be seeing the news.” Robber B had made it known that there were news crews outside so they knew news would get around fast. But they hoped their friends didn’t think they were apart of the group of hostages and end up panicking. Obviously, that was not the case.
Danielle released a dry sarcastic laugh to herself, but it was loud enough for Jae to hear causing him to look at her with a confused face.
“Are you going crazy on me?” Me chuckled out nervously.
“No, I’m fine.” She spoke. “I was just thinking how hilarious it is how I just got back from a weekend vacation with my girlfriend that we went on to fully get over her being held at gun point by a crazy person and now I’m being held hostage by two crazy men with guns.”
“That is kinda hilarious.” The brunette said with a slight chuckle. “You two can’t seem to escape guns, can you?”
Danielle shook her head with a sad smile before looking up see where the robber was and as usual, he was just pacing the floor and barking random and unnecessary orders to other hostages. She did however notice how he would get more nervous as time went by.
They could hear the noises from outside. The police kept speaking through the megaphone, but the robbers had decided that they weren’t going to communicate with them. Not yet. They knew they had screwed up and wanted to think through what they needed to do before there was any form of communication.
“What the fuck is taking so long?” Robber B shouted trying to land eyes on Robber A and the two hostages. “We need to get the hell out of here!”
Robber A, Anna and the other hostage, at this point was in the store’s safe but it was open, so they heard the shouting. None of them responded and just kept going trying to hurry up. The hostages wanted the situation to be over with and the Robbers desperately wanted to flee the scene. But would they? They were surrounded.
Not much long after and everything they desired was in the bag.
“Finally!” Robber B said when he saw the three bending the corner. “What took you so long? We are surround by cops.”
They knew they had to find a way out but how?
The two men kept going back and forth trying to arrange a plan of escape. From the way they kept going on and on Danielle and Jake figured they were, ultimately, just two idiots who wanted to make quick bank. But they also concluded that they were dumb enough to do something stupid; something stupid like shooting someone before they got out of that building.

“I’m going heading downtown.” Stefania said to Jaicy and Jaina who was still on the phone. I need to know if she’s in there. I can’t just stay here wondering where my girlfriend and my best friend in.”
