“I don’t want to argue with you, bambina.”
Danielle’s recovery was, thankfully, an easy one. She, with the help of her fiancé, followed doctor’s orders, except for the one slip up that they both regretted. Well, kinda, because who really regrets an orgasm or two right?
Though they were rare, Danielle did have moments where she would lash out or get annoyed, wanting to do things for herself. She regretted it the few times that it happened and apologized immediately.
Stefania understood. Her fiancé was one of the sweetest, kindest, and most generous people she had ever met in her lifetime, so she knew it was all because of the recovery process.
After one of Danielle’s ‘moments’, she quickly apologized and began to beat herself up for it but for Stefania march out of the room and that surprised the American, so she went after her.
“Love?” she called out when she turned the corner and didn’t see Stefania immediately, wondering where she would have gone, in the space of just a few seconds. “Babe?” still no answer. She walked over to the living room and found the Italian laying on the ground in front of the sofa, seeing that the brunette was releasing silent tears. “Love, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to snap at you.”
Where Stefania still didn’t say anything, Danielle went and laid beside her on the floor and wrapped her arms around her waist. “I’m really really sorry Stef.” She sincerely apologized once more but was still a bit confused.
“My period started this morning and my stomach hurts so that’s why I am laying here and that’s why I’m so emotional.” Stefania finally spoke. “Sure, your stubborn ass contributed to my out pour but it’s not your fault Bambina.”
“I think it’s still fully my fault that you are crying and I’m sorry.” Danielle makes an attempt to get up but is stopped by the Italian.
“Where are you going?” she asked. “Stay here with me. I promise I’m not mad at you.”
“I’m going to get my beautiful fiancé a heating pad for her cramps.” She pushed herself up in a standing position. “How about some ice-cream too huh?”
“Yes, please.” Stefania perked up with a smile, loving, now more than ever, when Danielle refers to her in that way.
Danielle returned with items and helped Stefania up so she could sit on the sofa so they could cuddle together and enjoy each other’s company, deciding against watching tv.
For the most part the recovery process was not nearly as bad as they thought it would be considering the nature of the injury.
They had decided on having the wedding on their one year’s anniversary, which wasn’t too far away. Neither woman cared to extend the engagement period and their wedding wouldn’t need a ton of planning so being ready on their anniversary would have been possible and ‘perfect’ they thought.
With the help of their friends, they had started putting together small pieces for their big day. Each friend took it upon on themselves to focus on something specific for the wedding, always coming back to their group planning with fun ideas that sometimes had to be shut down because it was ‘too much for what the brides had in mind.
Half the time it was only Danielle and Stefania planning together just like today.
“Babe, what do you think about this one?” the American asked, pointing towards a center piece on her laptop screen. “Isn’t it beautiful.”
