Juni and Solo were sited on the balcony playing a chess game, almost when Juni was about to end the game with shame after Solo won him twice in a row and their mother came into them.'Is this what you are both supposed to be doing? Are you satisfied that we are living in this condition?' She asked.
The children looked at each other surprisedly then Juni asked, 'Are we the one who asked you to be promiscuous?'
'Shut up Juni, you shouldn't slander mum like that ......... hey you hear? Leave the slandering to me' Solo said to Juni
'Mum as you can see right here... (pointing at the chessboard)... we are very busy and..(she smiles) we didn't ask you to destroy our lives with your actions.' said Solo
Roka pulled the chessboard to the ground and looked scornfully at them. The children smirked and started packing the chess. Roka went angrily to the garden and met Adnes on her way.
'Where are you going to looking like someone about to slice my yam.... (She smiled joking) .... Sorry let me rephrase .. why are you looking like a mad farmer whose harvest has been stolen?' asked Adnes.
'I wonder when you will stop looking for trouble you rude jerk' Roka said as she left.
'looks like the bitch is already getting her piece' Adnes said as she stares at Roka leaving.
Roka sat on a chair in the garden reminding herself that she isn't fine with the inheritance. Boyi was in the garden playing with his ball. Miranda followed her son as he plays and sighted Roka.
'Why are you here alone?' Miranda asked as she moves closer to Roka.
Roka looked at her with relief and sighed
'My children are becoming a torn in my heart, I hardly sleep this day, my head buzzes of their thoughts and annoying act towards me' said Roka.
'It must have been painful for them to know.... I mean all our children... that their father was not theirs to start with.... Boyi ... doesn't seem to care but I also don't care' said Miranda as she looked down with a smile.
Roka looked at her with disbelief and wondered how that could come out of her mouth.
'You don't care? Of course, your son is still young to comprehend all this so I won't be totally surprised... are you ready to leave the properties just like that? You don't care at-all?' Roka asked.
'Well I believed I have said my piece, to hell with the properties, I can't come and kill myself concerning that, all I have to do is to take care of my son, you better accept your fate and stop brooding (she sight of relief )...We all know we cheated chief....and I am totally fine in accepting the punishment (looking at Roka) we have enjoyed more than what we deserved' said Miranda.
Miranda called Boyi to pick up his ball and go to his room and read. Boyi smiled at Roka as he leaves but Roka smirked at him. Just about his departure, Boyi stopped and told Roka to sit properly that his friend couldn't play with her hair well enough as she was busy talking with his mother. Roka felt a hit on her head and she jumped up, looking scared, and yelled at Miranda
'Take your psycho of a son outta here bitch' said Roka
Miranda felt goosebumps all over her body and took Boyi away.
'Jeez that crazy boy, what was that?? My head hurts' Roka said as she left the garden.
Miranda took her son to her room and started questioning him about what just happened, Boyi looked at her in a dumb way and told her that he didn't want his friend to be angry at Roka. Miranda furthered by asking who his friend was and he told her he won't tell. Boyi ran out of the room as Miranda stood there watching him leave.
'How on earth am I going to tend to his situation? How...? if not for the useless shaman I conceived him for..... all of this wouldn't have been in existence. How am I going to be saved from all this?' Miranda sobs as she fell on her knees.
