Wan woke up early and saw Lydia lying beside him on the bed, shocked and confused, he thought about the previous night but kept having fragments of what happened. He remembered getting drunk with Simoni and wondered how Lydia was the one with him, he quickly woke her up and she smiled at him while giving him false information about the previous night.
'Wan... we were both drunk and it happened' said Lydia
'Lydia.... What is happening.. how are you in my bed?... I was with..(Lydia cuts in)....
'You ... you sat with me in the garden, remember? ( she recollect peeking on Wan and Simoni) We talked and had a few drinks' said, Lydia
Wan was devastated and sad about what happened and imagined if Simoni had seen them together entering the room. Lydia assured Wan that she won't mention what has happened to anyone. Lydia left for her given room and was so relieved to have made the first step of her plan. She recalled seeing Simoni leaving Wan's room before she entered that midnight and became curious.
'She has been in that room for three hours and I have been hiding closely, I hope it's not what I'm thinking it is' Lydia thought as she got ready to leave.
The three friends waited for Simoni outside after getting ready, Wan tried as much as possible to avoid any awkwardness amongst his friends. Alec wondered what happened the previous night and was sure Lydia was definitely up to some mischief.
Simoni came down to meet them and looked at Wan with excitement but Wan looked away because he was not happy about what has happened with Lydia. Simoni wondered what was his mind and why he reacted that way, she wondered if he still remembered the night they spent together. Simoni thanked them and they left while Simoni stood there looking at their departure. Madini noticed the look on Simoni's face and become worried.
'Is there something on your mind?' Asked Madini
'No... there is nothing...(she spaced out) ...did he not remember?' Said Simoni
'What?' Asked Madini
(Simoni smiled at Madini and pat on his shoulder as she left)
'And that is something' Madini said as he followed her with his eyes.
