SIMONI

HALF WAY

Everywhere was tensed as Lydia's daughter news was awaited. Alec kept thinking why he was a match rather than Wan and decided to confront Lydia.

'I need to see you now' said Alec

'Alec please not now, I am not in the mood for any talk' said Lydia

Alec tried to be calm not to arise any anxiety amongst others as he went back to his seat. Wan kept going back and forth as Simoni tried to comfort him.

'So you are ready to speak to me now? Have been inside your room, waiting for you to say a word Simoni, years have searched, you just don't want to listen, and now my daughter is in critical condition... you can comfort me? Not now Simoni' said, Wan

Simoni looked at Wan as she tried holding back her tears then she wheeled herself away to another corner of the corridor. Alec rushed to help her.

'I'm fine, I said I'm fine Alec!' Simoni yelled, then Alec pulled away gradually.

The doctor came out to inform them that their daughter is safe after the surgery. After hearing the news, Simoni asked Madini to wheel her away as everyone watched.

Simoni was discharged the next morning and as she was planning her leave from the hospital, Madini brought the twin to see her. The atmosphere was a happy reunion as Madini stood and watch the twin cries upon seeing their mother.
As everything was set, Simoni planned to return back to Greece for a while with the twin. She had previously talked about it with Madini, who has already booked and made every necessary plan for travelling.

Meanwhile, Alec decided to talk about Lydia to Wan. He looked for the perfect time to have his talk with Wan. Lydia was with her daughter in her assigned room as Wan decided to go and settle the hospital bills, Alec followed.

'Man... we need to talk' said Alec

'I'm all ears... Alec, you sound serious' said Wan

Alec was hesitating at first, but he decided to get the root of the matter

'It is Lydia ........ don't take this the hard way man, I just feel something is not right' said Alec

Wan smiles and said;

'Is there anything ever normal about her? That bitch is a snake so tell me exactly where your point leads Alec'

Alec explained his thought about Lydia to Wan, he explained how he has been having some doubts about Lydia and how he tried telling him but he doesn't want to listen. He told him how he came home one day and saw how Lydia had an open confrontation with his Nanny. Wan was stunned and pulled Alec to a chair to explain further.

'Wan.... It just recently, have been thinking I don't know if what I actually saw was real or not... I saw your Nanny turned into dust... my memories were just coming back recently and I couldn't place what it was until last night' said Alec

'Into dust? What ? Are you kidding me? My Nanny isn't some magical creature or vampire or fantasy... she told me she want to go for a long journey and that was it' said Wan

'See Wan, ever since I saw Simoni, it is like my previous deleted memories were back... Do you remember your dreams? The frosty ones? I told your Nanny and after that I couldn't remember meeting her..... it came back to me.... I remembered and... and Lydia she knows something' said Alec

Stunned Wan couldn't utter a word as he tries to process all that he has just heard from his best friend.
