It occurred painful daybreak, a man who is seen standing beside a dying man. He was in sorrow and anguish while speaking to the man in his sickbed.
'Is she showing up? ....Have you...confirmed her entrance? Will she forgive me?' the dying man inquired.
'Easy sir', said the man standing. 'She is surely arriving sir...it was verified her flight has come', the man standing added.
'I am pleasured to know she has reached the country... Madini... I know I'm an awful father.. thank.. (he coughs) .. thank you very much.. for your care both currently and before' the dying man mumbled as he inhales and exhales his final breath. Madini called unto him but had no reaction.
While in the avenue of Lagos, Simoni is wandering about in a taxi, appreciating the fresh breath and scenery of Lagos.
'Now, I will come down here, she told the motorist.
'Madam, I no get change o', said the motorist
'You can keep the change' Simoni said to the motorist after handing him the new 1000 Naira note in her hand. She got out of the taxi looking casual and excited, staring at the spa shop in her front. She stepped elegantly into the spa shop.
'Hello! Welcome to Deluxe Spa, how may I be of assistance to you ma?' asked the receptionist looking plump and radiant in a short flowered cooperate gown.
'Morning, I would like to see your spa packages and also I would like to know if I could find a nice hotel close by', Simoni replied.
'We have three spa packages, firstly... [interrupted by four men in black coming through the door)...excuse me mam... (moving towards the men in black) how may I help you misters? ' the receptionist asked. Simoni looked back and saw four hefty-looking men.
' Mam, we have been instructed to pick you from the airport but you left on your own accord, hopefully, we were able to trace you here, the big boss asked us to bring you to the mansion', the man at front said. 'Sorry, who are you here for?'Simoni asked.
'We are here for you miss Simoni, the big boss sent us', answered the man.
'Did my dad dispatch you all here??? I am not a kid anymore!!' Simoni yelled at the men. She left the spa shop angrily, and the men followed her, on getting outside four black SUV cars has been packed.
'Were you told to bring a princess or a criminal?' asked Simoni.
'It is the wish of the big boss mam', the man answered referring to the SUV cars.
Simoni entered one of the cars and they departed for the mansion. The cars alighted at a great mansion in the Island part of Lagos. The mansion was gorgeous with tarred roads and flowers enclosing the compound, cars of different models are packed and well-furnished apartments were built inside the compound. Simoni and the men got down from the car and a man in a black suit, middle-aged looking moved toward Simoni.
'Hello dear, how was your trip to Nigeria?' he asked. 'It was wonderful and perfect... with the criminal-like greeting entrance your men gave me', she answered looking annoyed. 'Oh... anyways nice compound you got here, she expanded.
'It was built and equipped from France world construction ......... chief is deceased Simoni', the man said as he looked at Simoni who was looking unpredicted, he doesn't know if she was happy or sad.
Simoni wondered what reaction she could bring on to Madini while recalling her little time spent with her late father.
'Hmm! He .. died? When Madini?' She asked while walking with the man into the mansion.
'This morning, he was talking about you till his last breath.....Madini? Do you remember me? I thought you don't ( looking sad ) ' said Madini.
'Of course, I do remember you, you were my father's Secretary... also more of a father figure to me when I was younger, I could remember how you used to come to check on my mother and me, how you bring goods and money to us back then in Greece', She replied.
Upon arrival to the entrance of the mansion, the door opened wide, what awaits Simoni was just as she had always imagined, the cruising Villa! She saw three women dressed in elegant outfits, with valuable jewelry to harmonize their dressing also with lovely shining heels.
'Yasuo!' Said Roka, the second wife of the late chief; the one he married after Simoni's mother.
'It actually "Yassou" pronounced "yah-soo"(hello)', said Simoni as she corrected her.
'All the same my darling, we are however welcoming you to our incredible residence', Danita (the third wife) announced.
Miranda (the fourth wife) sat on the couch examining the whole mood then she stood up.
'Secretary is this our husband's daughter?? (Looking viciously and assessing Simoni from head to toe), wonderful.... our stepdaughter here (looking at other wives) is a Greek champ and I presume we will receive more Greece lectures in this mansion (laughing wickedly)' said Miranda.
'Mam, this is Simoni, the Chief's first and only child, well you shouldn't be surprised (staring at the wives).... Nevertheless, the Lawyer will soon be here in any minute to brief and read out the will Chief wrote' said Madini.
'What?? How on earth would you think she is the only child?? How about our children? Asked Danita.
'Well there is nothing the Late chief hides away from me and that is all I will say for now' said Madini.
A total disturbed room began an argument with one another while Simoni sat patiently watching the drama Queens. Interrupted was the arrival of the lawyer.
