SIMONI

SWEET BITTERNESS

Wan got to Simoni's mansion and met the other wives and children packing their loads. He asked why they were leaving and he was told Simoni sold the house already and relocated elsewhere. They told him Simoni has already travelled back to Greece with her children.

Devastated Wan doesn't know what to do as Alec urges him to both go to the airport if they could meet Simoni on time.

On getting to the airport, they both split as they looked for Simoni. Simoni on the other hand was already on the plane and has left. Wan pants as he runs here and there looking for Simoni.

Alec encouraged Wan not to give up and they should quickly think of what to do next.

Wan booked a flight to Greece and went back home to look for the address in Greece Madini once gave to him in the past.

During his flight, he thought about how hard it must have been for Simoni. Alec demands to get his daughter at all costs. Lydia was sad and hoped she didn't make the decisions she took in the past.

Wan spent three months looking for Simoni in Greece. The address he has was not helpful because Simoni moved out as soon as she heard from Madini that Wan has the address. She believes Wan could look for her later in the future with the address he has.

Simoni has settled well in Greece, the twin started their education there and life was peaceful. One evening, Simoni went to a bookstore and there she saw a familiar face. A man was seated around a corner collecting all kinds of newspapers and magazines. He was looking desperately for something or someone. Concerned Simoni walked up to the man believing he might need help, she pats on his shoulder and he looked up to her.

'What? What.. what are you doing here Wan?' Asked Simoni

Overwhelmed with the sight of Simoni, Wan jumped to hug her

'I have been looking for you all this while Simoni... Please don't run away from me... It has been three months now that I have been in Greece... you remember Alec right? He ... (he coughs) he came here last month to join me with his daughter' said Wan

Simoni was disheartened to see Wan in a bad shape. She could tell he had faced a lot in his life, some experiences she couldn't even imagine for herself. She calmed him down and took him to a nearby restaurant, Wan explained to her all that has happened in the past. He explained the truth he heard from Lydia and how he and Alec decided to operate their Shopping Mall business both in Nigeria and Greece. He told her he searched every newspaper and magazine he could get hold of to see if Simoni's business could come up in any. It was very clear Simoni wanted to hide, and she did that perfectly without leaving any trace. Simoni decided to go easy on Wan, she brought him to her house and introduced the twin to their father. Wan could not hold back his tears as he hugged his children.

A year later, Simoni and Wan got married. They live together with the twin and Alec got wedded to a woman who took his daughter as her own in Greece. Life was great as they all had their share of regrets and sadness, but all that mattered to them was a complete family and a happy life in which forgiveness brought them together and they all lived happily.
