🗓 ⌜  mundane monday  ⌟  ┈─❟

If (Y/n) ever has to admit to anything, it has to be that she hates social interaction. Be it either with family or friends, she doesn't want it.

It's not like she's trying to be rude or anything, it's just that social interactions are too draining for her. It's too tiring to keep up with conversations especially when you're a noble, an emperor's daughter to be exact.

It was tiring.

(Y/n) sighs, leaning back on her chair, looking up at the ceiling in wonder. "What if I wasn't an emperor's daughter or... a noble to be exact?" She murmurs, looking back down at her desk where her books lay abandoned. "Would I be a commoner playing around with other kids?"

"Do you want to be one?" A voice asks, leaning down to look at the solemn face of the princess. The girl blinks for a moment, delaying her response before she yelps in shock.

"Eek!"

On instinct, she raised a hand to smack Lucas away but was blocked by the wizard. He raised an eyebrow. "You're much more violent than your sister."

Her eyebrows twitched in irritation. Damn you. She cursed before taking her hand back and leaning on her chair again, opting to just ignore the smirking wizard.

Lucas was amused by this. "Oh? Ignoring me?" He teased, going to her other side to look at her face once more. She turns her face again to the other side, Lucas following also.

They did this many times that they could count before (Y/n) sighs in defeat, which made the boy smile in victory. "What do you want, Lucas?"

The wizard pouts, feigning to be cute. "Now I can't hang out with you?"

(Y/n) looks at him with blank tired eyes. "You can, but don't you always bother Athy?"

With that question, Lucas looks away, trying to hide his blush. The only reason I even spend time with the other one was that I was taking advice from her to talk to you. He thinks, imagining a smug Athanasia who gave a thumbs up at him once he went to teleport to her sister's room. A cheeky little girl.

"Oh?" The girl sighs before standing up from her seat, dusting herself and her dress. "Well, it can't be helped."

(Y/n) looks at him, giving him a soft smile. "Would you escort me to the garden so that we can drink tea?"

Lucas' blush worsens even more at that, trying to calm down his erratic heart. He coughs to gain his composure as he looks back at the princess. "Of course."

He might thank Athanasia as she practically forced him to teleport here after all.
