"Fallon I'm home!" I announce when I come home and close the door behind me. I hang Edward's jacket and the keys and walk inside. "The house looks nice" I comment when I see Fallon walking out of the kitchen with a coffee mug.

"How was the date?" She sneers and I playfully scowl.

"It was good. An unexpected date" I add and plop on the couch. "He first took me to the park. And I met two fans" I excitedly told her about meeting the two fans and then the rest of the date.

"You're so lucky!" She squeals. "Oh and we're buying a dog, well, a pup tomorrow" she brings up.

"You go, I can't come because I have exams." I told her. I'd really love to go visit the dogs though.

"Too bad. Then I get to choose our fella" she fake pouts and leaves the living room to the kitchen. I follow behind and sit on the counter, a habit I've learned from her.

"You facetime me, when you get there" I suggest and she seems to think.

"Hm alright" she agrees. "Now that you're here, help me with dinner" she says

"I just had dinner" I say and almost turn around to go upstairs but she's quick enough to grab me by the hand.

"Ah, ah, ah. Get the pasta" she instructs. Mommy mode activated. She starts laughing and I'm confused until I realise I must have said that out loud.

"Now what?" I said after getting the pasta out. I really want to go lie down.

"Boil it and go cut the vegetables"

"Oh c'mon!" I fuss. I really am not in the mood to cook but to sleep.

"Stop whining." She scolds and I reluctantly grab a bowl and wash it and set it on the oven and pour a glass of water followed by the pasta. "Now cut the vegetables" she says and I groan.

"I already heard you before" I complain and do just that. I grab the cutting board and begin to cut the vegetables she has laid out on the counter. Cooking has never been my thing. Don't get me wrong, I love to learn how to cook meals, well, mostly desserts but not today. Today I'm tired and I have exams that I have to score.

A while later when everything is set and all that has to be done is set the table I tell Fallon I'm going to shower and leave the kitchen. I run to my room and throw my clothes in the hamper and quickly take a shower in the warm water. Don't you just love warm showers after a long day? I wrap my damp hair with a towel and my body with another towel and step out of the steamed bathroom. I open my wardrobe and change into a pair of sweatpants and a loose top. After some time I take off the towel from my hair and leave it to air dry.

When I pull out my phone I have a few notifications with the icon 'E'. I open it and see that he has sent the pictures we took today. I smile and put my phone for charge and go downstairs to help out Fallon and maybe taste the pasta.

"I thought you were sleeping," Fallon says when I find her at the table.

"No. I just took a shower." I said and pulled a chair next to her, grabbing a fork and picking a few pasta from her plate. Bad habit, I know.

"Hey! Get your own plate Liya!" The 'mommy of the house' scolds and I just laugh while enjoying the pasta. "Are you up for a movie?" She asks a while later, finishing up her food.

"What part of 'I have exams coming up' do you not understand, Fal?" I say and she shrugs her shoulders. "Do you need help with the dishes? I can help and then I'm off to bed" I say.

"No, you go ahead. Good night" she says and I hug her and kiss her goodnight and go upstairs.

I close my door behind me and plop on my bed. I have tomorrow and Sunday to study for Monday's exam. Hopefully nothing else comes up. Just then my phone goes off and starts vibrating. I turn around and see that it's Edward. Didn't we just hang out an hour ago? I ignore it because I'm getting tired the more I'm awake so I set an alarm at nine and power off the phone and fall asleep right then.
