BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I groan but snooze the alarm and get up even though I so want to go back and sleep. Watching a trilogy at a stretch was a bad idea but at the same time I needed that. It's been months since I've just been able to do something I haven't done in a very long time.

"Knock that thing off!" I hear Ava groan loudly making me laugh. I grab my pouch of toiletries and a set of clothes for the first day and my towel and leave the room. I still have to get used to having showers in a commonly used area.

Twenty minutes later I get back to my room, dressed in a long sleeved peach top tucked in my jeans. I tie my hair in a ponytail and apply just one coat of mascara and a touch of lip gloss to finish off. I grab my bag and leave the room, telling Ava I'm going to my first class which is English.

"Morning beautiful" I hear Mitchell behind me and I turn around giving him a smile.

"Hey" he caught up to me and we walked together to a small coffee shop nearby. The bell jingles when we walk inside the cafe just to be invited with the aroma of fresh coffee. I greet the middle aged woman and get our orders and sit at a small table for two.

"This is exactly how I pictured being here. Everyday coffee with bestie, classes together, lunch and then movies in the weekends." He says and I smiled.

"I got your schedule" I handed his schedule to him just as he took a sip of his coffee.

"Thanks, you didn't have to though" he says taking a look at it.

"Well, I had to because Harry here isn't disciplined enough to be ready for the new semester" I said and he smirks.

"Touche"

"I'm gonna see the library first thing when we get to campus and you my friend is going to come too" I say in a more bossy tone.

"Like I'll be anywhere away from you" he says looking away.

"And hey, forget about high school. Think of this as a new start. Make some new friends. Maybe even start dating somebody?" I say more to myself than him.

"Maybe the first two things but I'm no dating nobody" he says quite serious and I just nod. "I mean, it just never happens in my life anyway" he says.

"It'll happen. I'm taking full responsibility on-"

"What, getting me a girlfriend?" He raises his eyebrows.

"Exactly"

"Not. Happening" he states.

"Whatever. I can't force you anyway because that's never gonna happen." I say and finish my coffee and wait till he finishes his so we could go to school.

"Yup!" he laughs and we both walk out the cafe and walk towards the campus.

"Whoa. This place is huge." I say when we pass by the parking lot. There's not many students yet probably because we're early. Me and Mitch walk to the entrance and get maps to the whole building which hopefully will be of help. And like I said, me and Mitch looked for the library which we found quite fast.

"This place is-wow" the library was not too big but a not a too small room. I liked the colour coding and how the arrangements of the bookshelves were in and the brown couches that were located in each corner. The bookshelves were huge and I mean huge that it had ladders on the sides to reach the top shelves. It was just like how I picture it in my dreams. The floor was not tiled but shined in concrete. The walls were a pale beige with a few rosters pasted on.

"I know" he says and we both walk to the lady I presume is the librarian.

We learn that her name is Mrs. Danna. We talk to her a few minutes before going to our first class together.
