*Meriliya's POV*

I can't believe prom is this week! I didn't even have the time to even think about going to prom or what I have to wear and all that crap that comes along with it. I've been so busy with both school and concerts that's been happening every other day lately. Edward says I have too much on my plate and that I have to take things easy but I don't feel that way at all. I'm loving my time at the studio and participating in concerts and working with Justin and Chaz.

On the other hand, school has been going good too even though it's like everyday after school I have to drive to the studio. It's been great though with the boys and Mitchell and seeing Fallon around too. Fallon has been winning fashion awards since last December. Word about her is increasing more and more everyday and I couldn't have been more proud. I've got myself a car, a black Audi A1, finally! I bought this for Christmas, starting the new year with something to look forward to.

Edward and I have not been spending a lot of time lately since I've always been a busybody which he's starting to dislike. Can't blame him though. I've also come across his mini tantrums when I don't talk or pick up the phone on time. The last time he had an outburst I almost lost it. I got late from work and Justin offered to drive me home that night and I found an angry Edward seated on the porch. He screamed at me without even acknowledging Justin. I ended up leaving him there outside after our fight and found him there the next morning but I was too upset to speak with him so I ignored him for a few hours until at the stream in school.

"Mitch, here!" I got us a table and he gladly sat in front of me. "What's with that face of yours?" I laughed and he just shrugged his shoulders pouring a puddle of sauce on his plate.

"I admit I'm pretty handsome," he joked, which got me laughing. "It's true!" He flips his long hair. I wouldn't admit it to him but I actually like his long hair. It actually makes him look good.

"Whatever" I crunched my face playfully, stealing a little of his fries. He doesn't seem to dislike it so I take some more.

"You've got plenty on your plate" he points out and I smile innocently. "So...you planning to go to prom?" He asks and I sigh.

"I don't know. I never thought I'd actually think about it." I laugh half-heartedly.

"I know me too. But you've got no problem. It's obvious, Edward's gonna ask you" he says and I hum munching my burger. "You don't seem happy about it?" He says seconds later. You got me...

"What, I'm good. It's just that- who are you going with? Do you have a date?" I don't want to hide my worry.

"Don't worry about me. I don't even like proms." He says but I know otherwise.

"Oh yeah? Wonder what Ellie was talking about the other day about getting you a tux" I say and he literally widens his eyes.

"That little..." he starts and I giggle, grabbing another fry. "Who am I gonna go with anyway?" He says to himself.

"Me" I smile and he smiles but it fades quickly when his eyes move from mine. I look behind me to find Edward. Sigh. "Yes, Eddie?" I look up at him.

"I thought we were supposed to have lunch together." He says looking at Mitchell and then me.

"Yeah, I'm sorry" I sigh. "What is it?" I ask him softly to ease his rising frustration.

"We're going to the lake" he states and just like that I see him walking out of the door. I look at Mitchell to see him not pleased.

"I'm sorry" I say looking at him. He sighs.

"Don't be." He says and grabs his bag and says bye giving me a brief hug. I sigh again and get my stuff and walk out of school to see Mitchell already leaving and when I look at Edward's car, he's seated in his seat with his hands on the steering wheel. I slowly make my way to his car and get in.
