I'm walking into the apartment hearing voices like Mitchell's and Edward's. Well, funnily it is actually them in the living room talking over who knows what."What's all the commotion about?" I asked both of them. Only Mitchell looked at me, acknowledging my presence.
"Perfect timing babe" Edward says, sarcastically. "Why don't you tell her what you told me the other day Mitchell? Or should I say, Mitch." Here we go again.
"It's nothing like what you think, mate" Mitchell says calmly but I know better Edward isn't going to let him go without a fight.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" Edward fired and I gasped which probably wasn't even audible.
"Nobody. I'm just saying it's nothing like what you're thinking. We're just friends" Mitchell repeated. I'm sort of getting scared just as each second passes.
"Oh yeah? So you're telling me, you don't have a single liking towards her? No wonder, it took you long enough to admit that you love her!" Mitchell looked down. 'Good job, Edward.' My subconscious said sarcastically. Mitchell loves me?
"You're going too far." I warned just as Edward turned his attention on me.
"I am going too far? " He scoffed. "He's the one who's going 'too far'. Not me. You're mine, not his. He just needs to accept the fact that I'm your boyfriend and you are my girlfriend" he said bitterly. I rolled my eyes.
"He knows that and please I'm not some object you own." I say putting my arm on my hip.
"Oh really? Let's hear it from him then?" He turns towards Mitchell. "Wouldn't you date her, if it weren't for me?" He's pushing his buttons. "Tell us. Wouldn't you-" Mitchell attacks Edward. Oh my gosh! Edward punches Mitchell back in his stomach, making Mitchell groan in pain.
"Edward, stop!" I shouted but he didn't even acknowledge it. So much for being his girlfriend. What am I saying? "Edward, stop!" I screamed again but he just kept hitting Mitchell like he was his punching bag.
"Both of you stop! Please!" I screamed at the top of my lungs to get the fighting boys to stop. Still there was nothing.
"Mitch, please." I begged and he stopped almost instantly. He stopped fighting Edward but ended up getting a hard punch from Edward seconds later because he wasn't defending himself. "No!" I cried seeing him groan in pain leaning onto the wall for support. "Get out" I said angrily. Edward was still standing there and that's when I noticed Mitchell trying his best to hold himself together. "Edward. Go inside the room" I said angrily which made Edward look shocked. I glared at him telling him I meant it. He huffed and walked out of the room leaving me and Mitchell alone.
"Mitch," I cried, holding his hand.
"Hey, hey, why are you crying huh? Princesses don't cry" he smiled but winced seconds later.
"I'm so sorry" I cried. My hands went up to his shoulders and rubbed them gently. "Here, lay down. I'll go get the first aid kit" I helped him lay down on the couch before walking away to get the first aid kit from the kitchen he grabbed my wrist.
"Liya, I'm sorry." He said, his voice strained.
"Don't you apologise." I gave him a small smile and walked to the kitchen. "Okay, let's get you out of your t-shirt alright?" I said helping him remove his shirt. My eyes softened at all the red marks Edward had left him. "I'm so sorry" I felt my eyes tearing again looking at all those horrible things.
"It's not your fault, love" he smiled but I know deep down he's in pain.
"It is. I'm so sorry he did this to you. I'm gonna talk to him about it. He needs to learn that fighting isn't going to take him anywhere." I said, wiping my tears. I saw him nodding his head slowly. He's in pain and probably exhausted.
