They said he had two sides to him. One was a crazy maniac and the other was a crazy intelligent dragon. Most of the time, he was in between, so a maniacally crazy intelligent being. To the best of his knowledge, everyone was okay with that, because it made them laugh. Aiden knew that very, very, VERY deep inside him was the soul of a sane dragon that had been buried under layers of crazy and insane, designed to preserve his soul.
Aiden realised how insane his thoughts were.
Maybe he always tried to make others laugh, and that resulted in him forgetting how to be a sane being. Still, it wasn't that bad when everyone was your friend and you were loved by all.
So, Aiden yelled rather loudly his plan to storm the Grand Castle at dinner.
"WE WILL TEAR DOWN THE WALLS, THEN DROWN THE QUEENS WITH SAND THAT WE ORDERED FROM THE DESERT WITH FREE DELIVERY! THEN WE SHALL BURN THE CASTLE! BURN! BUUUURN IT ALL! WE WILL STEAL ALL THE SUGAR FROM THE KITCHEN AND EAT IT ALL! VIVA LA REVOLUTION!"
Some gave him quizzical looks. Most of the time the girls rolled their eyes, but he knew they were entertained. He knew everyone was entertained by his antics, because he could READ THEIR MINDS. Okay, maybe not their minds, but at least their expressions.
Usually, when he started something, some of the other boys would take it and stretch it further. This was no exception.
"Well, according to my calculations, we would need x^30x1000ab^2 bags to hold all that sugar." Cong Minh remarked.
"Duh, then we'll order some from ScrollBay!" Nived said. Sometimes he sat out, sometimes he joined in.
"And if they don't have free shipping, we'll train some donkeys to collect them for us." Collin said.
Aiden saw Xiaowan put her head in her talons and a few other girls did the same. They were still listening though. He could tell by their perked ears.
So for the next 30 minutes they went off on a tangent about sugar and free delivery, eventually ending in them building a ship out of stolen metal parts and them being chased by the pirates they stole it from. They would have liked to continue, but they were all sleepy and Sabina had 'ordered' them to get a good night's rest because they were storming the castle tomorrow.
The last thing Aiden yelled before going to sleep was "VIVA LA REVOLUTION!"
Oooh, it's tomorrow! I wonder what will happen. And I wonder what the prophecy is about...
