One by one they were carried away and thrown into a cell. The same cell. All 15 of them. 16 if you included Chestnut. It was no exaggeration to say that it was a tight squeeze, and as soon as the door to the underground dungeon closed, there was nothing but darkness, so she couldn't even see which dragon was elbowing her arm. Luna supposed that that was probably better though.

There was a cell next to them. There were dragons in there.

"Guys?" It was the familiar voice of Zain.

"Zain?" She asked. "The guards caught you too, didn't they?"

"Yeah, just a few days ago. They're gonna move us into the forest kingdom dungeon soon." Luna guessed his sisters were with him too.

She couldn't believe that just a month ago she was in her treehouse, living happily, safe from all bad guys. Now she was here, in the pitch-black dungeon, with nothing. Not even food or water. Simply nothing. Would they starve to death here? If she did, she would have regretted not telling her friends about her power. She had super hearing. It wasn't that much of a power, so she hadn't said anything, but it was the reason she had been able to catch so much prey. She could hear their footsteps.

Everyone was quiet. They had to save energy, after all. Plus, most of them were still half-unconscious after being knocked out by Peter. That guard was seriously mean, he probably had some anger issues. Right now, Luna wished that she at least could use some fire, but she couldn't because it would probably burn someone.

So she just sat there against the cold stone wall in the darkness. She heard some noises from the other side. Voices. One of them was familiar, it kind of sounded like... Misha? But Misha had been captured along with her, she was part of the distraction crew. How on earth could she have been talking on the other side of the wall? It was probably someone else who sounded like her, but Luna listened on, just for something to listen to at least.

"Misha, we've awaited your return. What news do you bring?" said a new voice. Luna gasped softly.

"I had joined the Talons of Dusk. They have joined up with the Shade of Flight now, just as the Prophecy Stone said. Now they call themselves the Shade of Dusk." she heard Misha say.

"Very good." Another new voice said. "Anything else you need to tell us?"

"Well, um, half of the Shade of Dusk are going to be hiding in the meeting room to listen in on your conversation. You might want to lie or something."

Luna couldn't believe that this was Misha. It simply couldn't be.

"Hmm... Thank you for your service, Misha." a third new voice said. "You may have your parents back after we kill the Shade of Dusk."

Misha gasped. "Kill? Can't you just capture them?"

"Are you questioning my orders? I want to make sure they don't get in the way of our war, so that I can win and become queen of the whole continent!" This was followed by two other voices starting to argue with her.

"As you wish," Misha said with a hint of sadness in her voice.

What? Luna softly banged her snout against the wall. WHAT?

She heard someone mutter "Let's sit over here," and the already faint voices faded. One of the queens had sensed her. Probably the Mountain Queen. She would probably have some sort of rock-associated power. Great. Now she couldn't hear them, despite her power. It just wasn't strong enough, which made her wish she had used it more.

There was no point trying to hear. She slumped down further, thinking.

What just happened?

Did Misha just AGREE to let the other dragons KILL THEM?

And what were they talking about right now?
