Sorry that I haven't been editing for so long, I was just finishing the story on Google Docs, and then I didn't have time to post...

After hours of flying, they were at the castle. Well, NEAR the castle, because they were hiding in the bush in front of the Grand Castle, all 30 of them. The walls were made of stone bricks and had vines crawling along it. The entrance was guarded by two mean-looking guards. One looked particularly big and nasty. He was blue and yellow, with scars all over him, and he was HUGE. Jacob didn't know what to do. Luckily, Sabina whispered to them,

"Okay guys, here's the plan. We split up. Half of us distract the guards and put up enough of a fight to lure the entrance guards away. Then the rest of us will sneak in and listen to the Queens' conversation."

Jacob nodded, so many dragons followed his lead and nodded too. He liked that.

Sabina split them up into groups of 15. He, unfortunately, was part of the distraction group. This definitely meant that they were going to be captured, but it was a sacrifice for the others. Justin was in the other group, probably to lead them because Sabina, Chestnut, and Timber would help the distraction crew fight off the guards. After running through the plan once more, they set off. Jacob's heart pounded so hard he thought he might faint. This only happened in stories, and he couldn't believe that they were actually going to sneak into the castle.

"Alright, let's go." He said to the rest of his group. They went around to the other side of the castle, still hidden behind the tall bushes, before tearing down a section of it and leaping out, ready to fight.

Guards had been stationed all around the castle. When they leapt out, the guards in front of them looked confused for a second, but immediately began advancing towards them slowly. There were two. One of them called out for backup. Specifically, for someone named Peter.

"What, you thought we'd call both of the entrance guards? Peter's enough to defeat you bunch of kids. Oh, and not a kid. Sorry Ms." He shook his head as if surprised that he apologized, and said nothing more.

Peter arrived. To his horror, Jacob realised that Peter was the one at the entrance with the scars. Up close, he was even bigger. HUMONGOUSLY HUGE.

Peter growled a low growl, before breathing fire right at their feet. That was bad. During their practice, none of them had used their fire for fear of hurting the other. Peter certainly didn't care if they were hurt or not.

"YOU WILL ALL BE SENT TO PRISON!" He shouted, his loud, booming voice hurting Jacob's ears. Peter lashed out with his talons, causing the group to spread out. The other guards leaned against the wall and seemed to relax.

One by one, each of them were knocked down so hard that they couldn't get back up. Jacob felt cold metal cuffs clamp tightly around his wrists and clips on his wings. Chestnut, despite fighting bravely, was captured as well. He only hoped that they had done enough for Justin's crew to sneak in.

At this point, Sabina and Timber were the only ones standing. Timbre had been hiding, and Sabina was a good fighter, so that made sense. Peter eyed her angrily, but there was something in his gaze that was different, that didn't suit his personality.

"Ms, I advise that you fly away before you are beaten up by my fists."

What was this? Was Peter letting her go? Jacob painfully turned his head to look at the other guards. They looked confused too. Sabina stood still for a moment, glancing at the dragonets lying on the ground, bruised and in cuffs. Then she turned, picked up Timber, and spread her wings, flying away.

Betrayal.
