Once I finally managed to open my eyes and stop the ringing in my ears, I tried to get up. I barely got 2 inches away from the ground before I fell smack on the floor again.
I looked at my legs. They were tied up. I tried to untie the ropes on my legs. My hands were tied together behind my back, too. I tried calling for help. My mouth was sealed up with duct tape.
I had been captured. There was no way at all to escape.
I looked around myself. I appeared to be in what seemed to be a never-ending hallway.
There was low lighting, but I still tried looking around for my Chronicle. To my surprise, it was right in front of me.
Instantaneously, I remembered the cause of my past blacking out.
I looked down at my chest. There were some bandages and it smelt like medicines.
If this guy bothered to fix me like that, why did throw knives and shoot me in the first place?! Hold on just a second! He had never held a gun at all! The gun was in my hands all along and it was pointing towards him!
Then how...?
"Interesting, huh?" The voice seemed to be surrounding me. "My Chroncice resides in my own mind, unlike other ones. Nobody can steal or harm it. And I don't even have to move around or spend time writing in it."
"Let me go!" I croaked. Alder chuckled, "No, I'm afraid that's impossible."
I tried to squiggle out of my binds. NO luck. I summoned all the strength in me to my arms and tried again.
SNAP! I had gotten rid of the bindings on my hands so I started untying the ropes on my legs.
Success. I tried finding a pen to write in my chronicle. Darn it. Nothing.
I found a small knife nearby and an idea popped into my head. I closed my eyes and impaled myself. Blood flowed out. I gritted my teeth and got some blood on my finger on purpose.
I started writing in my chronicle.
Firstly, I got a few guns and knives to myself. Next, using my Chronicle, I tried sending Aldia a message. I told her what I could about everything that had happened. I just hoped my message would get through to her.
BOOM! The wall right next to me came crashing down as if a tornado hit! And on top of the wreckage...Aldia stood.
