Luna
—
I was running towards the classroom. Shit I was late. I burst open the door, my professor and other students looked at me while I continued to breathe loudly."I apologize for being late, my mother woke up late and the traffic was overwhelming" I continued to ramble until my prof stopped me.
"Yes miss Bellamy I understand that there may be certain circumstances however, I would like for you to be more considerate in others' schedules" She said with a stern look, giving me chills.
I quickly sat down on my chair and the lecture continued.
The bell rang and my class was finally finished. It was my first and last class in the morning, my next one would be at 2 in the afternoon.
I went to a café near our campus and ordered a single latte. I grabbed a seat and sat, opening my laptop and grabbing my architectural plates.
I glanced over my reference picture flashing on my laptop as I continued to render.
"Luna!" Someone shouted causing me to almost mess up my rendering process.
"Avian" I replied to her calmly, praying to God that she gets the hint to get quiet.
As Avian continued to walk towards me, I continued to observe her outfit. She wore a white knitted long sleeved top with black lines, matched with a loose denim overall and white shoes.
In comparison, I wore a white dress shirt with a light brown vest on top, all tucked in a plain black skirt.
"How's class?" She asked as she sat down on a chair in front of me.
"Exhausting" I groaned. "I was late and got scolded first thing in the morning, but what's worse was my brother accidentally knocking out a glass of water destroying my architectural plate and now I have to start all over again."
"Damn you had quite a rough day, and the day's not done yet" Avian commented.
"Exactly" I sighed, "How about you? I heard students from your course were preparing for a big fashion show"
"Argh don't get me started on that, I had to work with this guy named Hoshi who was such a stuck-up asshat" She rambled frustratingly making me chuckle.
"Luna" The barista called out.
"Thank you um...Ace?" I thanked him looking over his name tag.
"You're welcome" He smiled and handed over my coffee.
I went back to my seat, seeing Avian smirk. "What?"
"Nothing" She laughed and slowly moved to her laptop. I sighed and continued to render my architectural plates which was due tomorrow.
Time passed and I looked over my phone to see that it was 5 minutes before 2. I called out to Avian, who was busy focusing on her laptop, and told her I needed to go to class.
"Oh yeah, good luck on your next class, and by the way, are you still up for the annual party?"
"Wouldn't miss it" I replied as I continued to walk and waved goodbye.
I walked towards my next class which was math. God I dread that subject the most, considering that I was never good at it.
"Hey Luna" Heid, my seat mate, waved at me.
