Chapter 4- Luna

Two days were given to all of us to relax and explore the beauty of Madrid. Before we decided to explore, all of us checked in first in our hotel. The boys and the girls had their separate suite, the girls and I in room 201 and the boys, next to ours.

As we entered the room, I can't help but stare in awe at the big, luxurious, and modern room in front of us. It had cream painted walls, floor planks, and wooden designs above the walls that were dark brown. The room had three small-sized beds, a perfect fit for the three of us. 

I opened the curtains, only to see a beautiful view of Spain. Different buildings of different structures welcomed me along with the almost sunken sun. Each structured building I see has a history in it. A history I'm eager to know, it made me excited to know how beautiful the culture, history, and scenery here is.

"It's nice, isn't it?" Avian asked with her thick British accent while jumping onto the bed ruining the perfectly placed linen and bedsheets.  

"It is" Andrea spoke while unpacking her clothes and tying her gorgeous black hair while I looked at them both waiting to join in the conversation

"The scenery is honestly amazing, I didn't know there was such a place where it's so beautiful that it's ethereal," I spoke looking at the view once again

"Was this your first time to go to a foreign country?" Andrea asked while I nodded

"That's why" Avian and Andrea looked at each other and laughed, even if I didn't get the joke, because of their contagious laughter, I laughed along.

"Since we're not doing anything, why not explore the country and club later?" Avian asked while she wiggled her eyebrows

"Isn't it too late?" Andrea asked still doubting our plans

"Come on! It'll be fun" I encouraged her as she sighed in defeat

"Fine," She said sighing as Avian and I shrieked excitedly, about the night ahead of us.

The girls and I dressed casually since we were still going to change later on after we met up with the boys and had dinner with them. We went out of our room and went to the elevator. 

As we got off the lift, the girls and I decided to explore Spain while the boys stayed in for the evening. We visited Museo Nacional Del Prado, it exhibited lots of beautiful artworks but my favorite one was La Maja vestida or the Clothed Maja by Francisco Goya.

It was sequestered by the Spanish Inquisition between 1814 and 1836, it was said that the model was the mistress of the owner of the painting at the time, Pepita Tudó, I was fascinated by the painting because of its history.

"You're really into art huh?" Andrea asked as I was startled by her approaching me

"Yeah, I actually graduated with a bachelor's degree in arts" I spoke

"That's interesting, I wanted to take that up too but I wanted my course more so it won" She spoke while reasoning out her decision

"What did you took as your course?" I asked, curious about her course

"I majored in Law actually" She smiled

"Oh...that's actually pretty far from your job now"

"I know" She chuckled

"I chose this job because I thought my talent would be a waste, and I was just not yet ready to grow up and enter the political world." She reasoned out as I nodded

After our talk. we went to the Plaza Mayor as well, which was known as the main market of the town back in 1561. The architecture was amazing, it was mixed with historical and modern designs, the colors complemented one another like how the fiery red was balanced by the cool color blue. The way the lights were highlighted by both colors was amazing, it was like living in a painting that was a masterpiece.

We all decided to meet up for dinner at Sobrino de Botin, the exterior and the interior was both pretty.  Like, how each wood had designs carved into them and their food was delicious especially their delicacy, paella, it was a rice-based dish with seafood and it was amazing. While waiting for the boys, the girls and I went to buy some souvenirs, since the boys decided to explore the city and got lost which is why they were taking so long. Idiots. We were looking at some keychains when Avian asked me something completely out of the blue

"So what's the deal between you and Arian?" She asked

"Oh, you mean Ace?" I asked in return

"Cute they have nicknames for each other!" She said squealing like a teenage girl.

I looked over at Andrea she was looking down at the floor when Avian said the word 'Arian'

"Hey Andrea you alright?" I asked worried that she might be feeling a bit under the weather

"Yeah I'm fine" she answered

"Hey! No dodging of questions" Avian shouted while I giggled at how much energy she has, and how I envied that

"Well nothing is going on between us" I answered allowing her to shrug off the thought or so I thought it would

"Well, then why were you both cuddling during the plane ride?" She asked suspicious thinking if there was really nothing going on

"Really there's nothing, he just helped me to lessen my fear with the altitude of the plane dropping" I answered finally throwing the question out the window.

We paid for the souvenirs before we all headed to the hotel. The girls and I quickly got dressed, getting ready to hit the club. We all texted the manager and the boys that we were going to the party and that they were free to join us. Though, I'd rather have them not.

We entered a club near the hotel and went to the VIP area. We all took some shots of tequila and some martinis before we decided to dance. We danced until my feet started hurting and I decided to go out, to the balcony and get some fresh air.

While I went outside to breathe some fresh air, I felt a guy come close to me

"LUNA" A guy I'm familiar with spoke, I looked at the guy with the deep and hypnotizing voice and surprisingly saw Ace

"So you guys did decide to join us" I spoke, a little tipsy from all the alcohol

"Luna, it means the moon right?" I nodded in response to his question, he joined me in sitting at the couch located on the balcony

"It's funny how my parents named me at something as strong and powerful as the moon, huh?" I spoke quietly, getting sleepy from the booze

"And why is that?" He asked chuckling while getting curious about my answer

"Well for one I'm not as powerful as the moon, and secondly I'm not as near as illuminating as the moon is"

"And what if you are?" He said staring at my dark brown pupils down to my rosy plump lips, my face already looked like a tomato because I was drunk already.

I quickly looked up at the moon once again and we went silent only to admire the beauty and magnificence of the moon before I answered his question.

"Then, I'll continue to shine bright in other people's night skies" I spoke before I dozed to sleep.

Author's note :

Another surprise once again! I was excited to write this scene because I couldn't stop thinking of how cute it would look like in real life. Once again I'm adding this chapter just in case I wouldn't be able to update tomorrow but I doubt that since I'm already obsessed with writing this book and can't wait on how their story will unfold. Hasta la proxima vez :))
