Chapter 15- My hometown

I woke up in a bed which I didn't recognize. As I scanned the room, I realized I was in a hotel room obviously but it was different. That's when it hit me it wasn't my room, I panicked until I reluctantly looked over at the balcony, I saw Ace staring into the light blue sky as the light from the sun met his hazel brown eyes, he had this cigarette in between his fingers, he was playing with it while putting it onto his lips occasionally only, the cigarette wasn't lit. As I continued to stare at him, I heard my phone vibrate which made him stare to my direction.

From: Avian (my main bish)
Where are you? You weren't in your room, I'm calling now!

Avian texted me clearly in distress as I didn't reply, and just like that my phone vibrated louder as my ringtone chimed from my speaker

"Where are you?!" Avian shouted clearly concerned as to where I was right now,

"I'm um- visiting a museum, yeah" I replied trying to come up with an excuse since I couldn't exactly tell her I was with him either wise I wouldn't hear the end of it.

Ace casually stared at me grinning as I made an excuse at where I was, clearly not satisfied at how embarrassed I was he chuckled as he spoke near my phone, wondering what he was doing he spoke

"Babe come back to bed" he said smirking while acting like he just woke up, finally realizing his tactics, my eyes grew and quickly slapped him in his back as I heard Avian scream and asked me who it was until I quickly ended the phone call.

"Why did you do that?!" I asked frustrated at him and his schemes while he laughed at my reaction, as we continued bickering.

Ace accidentally pushed me causing both of us to fall into the bed causing him to be on top of me. He stared back into my dark brown orbs as I stared into his hazel brown ones, we looked at each other in silence until I received a text once again this time from Heid

From: Heid (the cute Angel)
Laiyllah you have to come quick!

To: Heid (the cute Angel)
Why? What's happening?

From: Heid (the cute Angel)
Just come! Meet us at the cafe downtown

He texted, Ace and I quickly got off the bed still flustered at what happened. We both decided to go to the cafe at different time to avoid suspicions from both our friends and the paparazzi. As we both got in the cafe, we looked over at the table where they were sitting, in the table laid a box containing a sticker of my address, I sat down beside Andrea as I asked what was happening

"Look inside" Damian sheepishly replied as I was puzzled until I took a look, horror filled my body. I looked into the box as I see 2 dead rats with a letter in between them reading

"Better be careful on who you date, you wouldn't want to mess with the wrong girl Laiyllah" — your greatest 'fan'

It was written into the letter with the rat's blood smeared all over, I got nauseous as I went inside the cafe's washroom, I went into the cubicle quickly as I felt everything I ate come out of my mouth and into the toilet. I was grossed out but most of all terrified.

We were finally going to the airport waiting for our flight for my hometown, Paris, France. As I went to my seat I couldn't focus at what they were saying, I just stared off into the tiny window right beside my seat, I looked at the peaceful sky with tiny ball of clouds peacefully dancing as they turned into different shapes every minute but still I couldn't be distracted by the fact that someone delivered that box to me. As I stared off more into my thoughts I decided it was best for me to just write it down into a song.
