Chapter 14- Recording Booth

I tried to avoid Ace as much as I could until it was merely impossible to, I went to the studio to a record our song for our new album. I saw him, I saw his dark brown hair, his light hazel brown eyes staring to the computer as he mixed the beats, having the same glimmer in his eyes every time he has this passion inside of him, and his smile, his smile so sincere yet so full of passion.

"Are you going to stand there or are you going to record the song, Luna?"He turned his chair only to look at me, I hesitated but then realized that I should nod.

I went inside the recording booth fixing the pages of lyrics according to my part.

"Just a girl caught up in dreams and fantasies, Please...see me, Reaching our for someone I can't see. Take my hand, let's see where we wake up tomorrow~" I sang as he looked at me with having still, the glimmer of passion in his eyes, he nodded signaling that I could move to the next part

"Who are we? Just a speck of dust within the galaxy? Woe is me, if we're not careful turns into reality but don't you dare let our best memories bring you sorrow~" I sang once again this time hearing a crack on the end, he quickly looked at me as he entered the RECORDING BOOTH.

He taught me how we can let the crack disappear and all those things but I couldn't hear anything, he continued staring at the pages full of lyrics and notes while he casually stares at me only when he stared at me this time, the stool we were leaning onto slipped and thankfully he caught me right before I fell but now both our faces were merely separated by centimeters slowly closing off the space between us, I could hear him mumble.

I quickly got off him and quickly stood up, pretending to cough I quickly told him that I understand and that we should record once again. Andrea invited us all to her parent's restaurant, things were of course still awkward between Andrea and Ace, recognizing the awkward tension between the three of us, Damian thankfully came up with an idea for us to forget everything that happened.

"Why not play Smash or pass?" Damian smirked while looking at me, me being confused I just nodded and let them start off. We were all pretty drunk as we all started off hard with 'soju' it was my turn to play the game

"Smash or pass, Ace?" Avian asked while grinning at me, I laughed it off seeing as I was drunk but still accidentally said pass, we kept on playing the game and laughing until we all were all drunk.

Andrea was sent home by her parents while the other three went back to the hotel asking our manager to drive leaving the two of us, Ace managed to take care of me while waiting for our manager. As I was drunk I accidentally said things to Ace without being conscious of what I was saying

"You know you're confusing me Ace" I said still drunk, his face was confused as he stared to my eye wondering what it meant

"One minute you're sweet then the next you're just a big pain in the arse" I said as my French accent showed

"You're drunk Luna, come on let's get you to the hotel" He sighed as he replied, I almost fell when I tried to stand up and in the end he ended up carrying me to his hotel room as he didn't have the key to mine.

He laid me down in his bed while he took the couch, before I fell asleep I saw him sleeping peaceful, his usually neat hair was messy having a few of his strands loose, his smile that always had this smile was worn off but still tried to be as lively as possible.

I couldn't believe it was the same guy whom always laughs and tells jokes, I realized that Ace might be happy at the outside but yet it was only his external features that kept him happy, inside he had this black hole in which he can't avoid, he felt he had a missing piece, he was like me, so happy in the eyes of others while in real life we were exhausted, we were exhausted from pretending, we were exhausted from being happy, but we needed to pretend to survive, before going back to bed I got a blanket from his closet and put it above his body to keep him warm for the night before quietly kissing his forehead.

This story will be a revamp of the previous royalty, obviously it has a different storyline as I wasn't happy with the previous one

Yes, but I might not update all the time because of online classes and because of my life outside wattpad
