I volunteered for us to stay at my house for the rest of the week to conserve our company's money also because we were at my hometown so why not? I mean I have the place for all 6 of us. As we got off the car, I saw everyone's jaw drop. They all looked at my house in awe.
It was a modern day mansion, it had this pool in the middle with a water fall and lights which showed a clearer picture of the deep blue water, the house was almost made up of black tinted glass with white concrete tying up the look. It had this dark brown roof and slabs to accentuate the whole house as well as lanterns surrounding the house.
It was big, it was at the very least 400,000 square feet size wise. As they continued to stare at the house in awe, I went to the center clapping my hands in order to get them off this trance, I was never the one to brag about my family's riches since I was afraid about people treating me differently and also because I wasn't taught to do that. As we went inside I quickly looked for my mom
"Je suis de retour maman!" (I'm back mama!) I shouted as I called out for my mom.
I saw my mom quickly going down the staircase obviously awaiting for my arrival since yesterday, her big dark brown curls jumping as she took each step in the staircase, her pale skin tone glowing from the lights, her brown eyes which were lighter than mine glimmered as she saw my face
"Ma fille! tu nous as manqué, la maison n'est plus la même depuis ton départ" (My daughter! We missed you, the house wasn't the same since you left) my mom replied enthusiastically while I hugged her
"These people are my friends Mama, they're the ones who would be staying here for the rest of the week" I explained to her about our current situation until I heard someone shout my name.
It was a boy with short dark brown hair almost black, his pale skin like my mom, had this rosy tint to it with obvious freckles surrounding his cheeks like mine, and his dark brown orbs that were darker than mine which portrayed my brother, he dragged his wheel chair across the room to welcome me, I grabbed him and swung him around before I put him back in his wheel chair and kissed his cheek.
Axel, my brother, was diagnosed with paraplegia paralysis ever since he was born, the doctor said it was caused by a congenital condition that affected the neural elements of the spinal canal causing both of his legs unable to move.
"Je vous ai manqué Luna!" (I missed you Luna!) my brother shouted enthusiastically as he gave my waist a hug once again
"Tu m'as manqué aussi mon petit Axel" I told him while I smiled sweetly.
After I had put Axel in bed, I showed everyone their rooms before I changed into a swimsuit to get ready to swim. As I went there I saw the others by the pool as well but the person who particularly caught my eye was Ace.
he was wearing this blue beach shorts and nothing on top, his torso was built flawlessly, it was carved perfectly in perfect proportions, the way the water droplets shimmered because of the moonlight as it made its way down his torso and onto the pool once again, and the way his hair of which had been wet but still made its way to be perfect with a couple of strands flowing down his ears which was alluring, it was like staring at a painting that was made directly by the gods.
I quickly took off my dress that was on top of my bikini, I caught Ace eyeing me and went closer as I went down the cold blue water but I tried to avoid him mostly because I was too scared that I might not be able to control myself but because of the letter as well.
The night passed and everyone went back to their rooms while I stayed at the pool as I stared at the stars above, watching them twinkle as they made the dark colored sky look livelier.
