Bryant Hamilton

The door to my cabin opened and a girl entered, she may be in her twenties. I have seen many girls but the aura she is carrying is different from others. Her face looks innocent and cute but there is no expression on her face. Her expression is as cold as ice, well, I can't complain because I look the same as well. Normally I don't even take a glance at a girl but I can't understand why I'm observing her. Her features are so delicate. Brown orbs, straight nose, pink lips, fair skin tone, chocolate brown hair, perfect curves. I shake my head to clear my thoughts.

"Hello sir, I am Trine Rees, newly appointed doctor" she introduced herself. Her voice is so sweet. What am I thinking? I thought to myself.

"Hello. This is Bryant Hamilton, I have checked your profile. Since you have just graduated, you will be my assistant doctor during the surgeries" I told her. "Yes sir" she replied and nodded her head. "Address me as Dr. Hamilton or Mr. Hamilton. And tomorrow morning, we have a minor surgery, you will start your work tomorrow. You can take a leave for today. Report tomorrow by eight in the morning, be on time. Now you can leave" I told her in my usual tone. "Sure, Mr. Hamilton" she replied and left the room.

I watched her leaving, my mind got the image of her face again. Her features are innocent and cute but the expression on her face when I was talking was blank. Her replies were firm and emotionless as though she hates my presence. I couldn't help but think of her. I remind myself that she is a girl and definitely I can't think of her. Girls are headache that is what I think of them. But to be honest, I donno why I liked her presence. I need to maintain my distance from her.

I made my way home to have a rest. I'm totally exhausted from the surgery but I'm glad the patient was saved. I love to serve people and the doctor profession is the best way to serve people and save their lives. I really feel proud to say that I'm a doctor.

When I entered the house it was very quiet, it's just six in the evening, so I made my way to my room upstairs, which is the only bedroom on that floor. I entered my room and had a relaxing shower and changed into comfortable clothes before going to bed to sleep.

I woke up to the knock on my door, I opened my eyes to see the time, it's nine in the evening. I rubbed my sleepy eyes and made my way to the door only to get face to face with my mom. "Yes mom?" I asked. "Dinner is ready. Come down" she said. "You go ahead, I'll be right back" I said and closed the door after she nodded. I went to the washroom to wash my face and wiped the water with a white fluffy towel and made my way downstairs.

After dinner, I went back to my room and closed my eyes to sleep as I have a surgery tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm going to see her again. I don't know why I wanted to see her again, because this type of feeling never occurred to me in my entire life. I'm feeling different, maybe she is the only girl who did not show any interest in me. With this thought, I was surrounded by darkness, as I slowly fell asleep.
