I was a little surprised to see him here. That was the last thing I expected. I mean he is the boss and he didn't have to come here personally. When he asked me, I was unable to give him an answer. I thought he did it on purpose, I mean coming to my cabin, standing behind me, pulling me close to him and leaning too close to whisper in my ear. These are the last things I expected from him.

But I was at fault when he said the reason behind his arrival. I was so immersed in the conversation with my friends that I forgot he asked me to bring a file. He slammed the door of my cabin and went away.

Great!! Now I have to face his wrath. God, please help me.

I searched for the file he asked for and went to his cabin. I knocked on the door and heard his response so I entered his cabin.

I was afraid to look at him so I simply placed the file on his desk. "Mr. Hamilton here is the file you asked for and I'm sorry" I apologized to him and stepped back a bit.

He got up from his chair and stood in front of me leaning on the desk while taking a look at the file. I again stepped back to make a good distance between us.

He was examining the reports without giving me any instructions whether to stay or leave. So I thought I was not needed here.

I was about to exit his cabin when he said "Wait. Did I ask you to leave?" I sighed and stood silently without commenting anything for his question. I was observing his cabin when he suddenly stood just inches away from me. I stepped back and he continued to move forward till I met the wall.

He put his hands on either side of me and leaned closer. I was about to punch him when he started speaking "This was the first time so I'm leaving you. Next time don't make me wait or else you have to face the consequences" I just stared at him blankly. What was that?

My heart was thudding loudly in my ribcage. I don't know what happens to me, when he is this close my heartbeat increases rapidly. I let out a shaky breath when he stepped back and crossed his hands across his chest with a smirk.

I raised a brow at him questioning why he smirked. He composed himself and ordered me to follow him to the OT. I rolled my eyes at him when he turned to leave. He and his arrogance are getting on my nerves.

He looked over his shoulder when I did not follow him. "Don't you know you have to follow your boss' orders?" he questioned. I gave him a tight lipped smile "Ofcourse I know Mr. Hamilton" I answered and gestured to him to go first as I followed him.

The surgery went well and he did not bother me during the surgery as he seriously did his job. I went to my cabin to take a rest as I have two more surgeries to attend.
