Trine Rees

There was a knock on my door. "Come in" I said and Ms. Ozanne came in.

"Ms. Rees, Mr. Hamilton asked you to bring the patient's file to his cabin" she said and I nodded in understanding.

"Ms. Ozanne, I will take the file" I answered her with a smile. She left my cabin with a nod.

I was about to take the file when I received a call. I took my mobile and saw that it was my best buddy. I answered the call and heard two cheerful hellos. I smiled at their craziness.

"Hello girls" I greeted them. Etel Wylie and Etana Thayer are my two childhood buddies. I have only these two friends as I don't like to make friends. They are really awesome friends because they bear with all my tantrums.

"Why did you guys call me this early? Is everything fine?" I asked them.

"Yes, MY MOM everything is fine" they said in unison and laughed. Seriously, what is there to laugh about? Did I crack a joke or what? I don't understand these girls, whenever I worry about them they make fun of that.

Take a deep breath Rin, calm down, you know about them, I thought to myself.

"Care to tell me why you called or else I'm gonna hang up" I threatened them.

"Oh? Ma'am is busy. I see. Then when can we get your appointment Ma'am?" Etel asked mockingly. Damn, these girls started again.

I stood from my chair and walked to the other two chairs infront of the desk and leaned on one of the chairs headrest supporting my body with my arms on it.

"Guys, seriously? It's just been a week since we met. You guys want to meet again?" I asked bored.

"Girl, it's been a week since we met. You changed a lot Rin. You don't even want to meet us" Etana said dramatically and sniffed for effect. I pinched the bridge of my nose to calm myself.

"Fine. Now you don't get started with it. Let's meet at our regular coffee shop at six in the evening" I said defeatedly and heard their screams from the other side. Damn, I'll be deaf one day for sure because of their screams.

"Okay babe" they said excitedly and a smile automatically formed on my lips. I love them so much that I cannot see them upset.

"Girls, you know something, I found a guy here who is very interesting. He is different from others" Etel said excitedly. I huffed. This girl really likes to check boys. I, on the other hand, am least interested in this topic.

"Is he handsome?" Etana asked. I just want to get out of this conversation.

"Can you guys stop this topic?" I asked hopefully to end this conversation.

"Girl, this is the most interesting topic now. Just wait. Etana you know he is very handsome and looked innocent as well" she said the last part dreamily.

"Guys, bye" I said and hung up the call without waiting for their reply. I turned around only to bump into something. I closed my eyes and was about to fall backwards when something stopped me. I opened my eyes only to meet with the black orbs which I wanted to avoid.
