After lunch we all went to our rooms to take a rest. I went to my room to take a short nap. When I woke up it was already four in the evening. I went to the washroom to freshen up and made my way downstairs.

As I went to the pavilion, I saw that everyone was there having their evening tea and snacks while chatting with each other. My mom was the one who noticed me and signalled to join them. I went there and sat on the vacant seat while my mom handed me a cup of tea. I took the cup and started drinking while listening to their conversation.

"We are getting old and I want to see my great grandson. Hurry up and let us search for a bride. What do you say Bryant?" my grandpa asked suddenly.

"Grandpa, please don't get started with it again. I'm not ready for a relationship yet" I told him.

"Young man, you are already 26 and you need to start a family. Your dad was already married at that age" he said.

I groaned in annoyance and looked at my mom and dad for help but they simply avoided my gaze. Wow, now they don't want to be involved in this. Great!!!

"Brother, grandpa is right. You need to settle down now" Issai said. "Not you please" I said through gritted teeth. Even he has the guts to suggest me in this matter, Really??

"Do you have anyone whom you like?" my grandma asked.

"Can we change the topic please?" I said and looked at everyone with a hope to let matter go for now.

Jesus Christ!!! Why do they always have to bring this topic? I seriously don't have interest in these relationships and all.

"Pretty please" I added and everyone sighed in defeat.

"Listen boy, for now I'll let this matter go and give you two weeks to think about it, if you have anyone whom you like you can tell us or we will find someone for you" my grandpa warned. I just stared at him and didn't answer anything.

"So, is everything ok in the hospital?" my dad changed the topic to lighten up the mood.

"Yes dad everything is fine" I answered him.

"What about you, how is everything in the medical college? Are there any issues?" he asked Isaai.

"Everything is fine dad, no issues" he answered.

"I think we should plan a trip so that everyone can relax a bit from our busy lives. What do you say?" my mom asked expectantly.

"Yeah!! It's been a long time since we all went out together" my dad agreed with her.

"Great" my mom said excitedly.

After a while we went inside to have dinner as it was already nine in the evening.

After dinner, I went to my room and changed into my track pants and T-shirt to go to sleep. Tomorrow I need to attend the surgeries.

Come to think of my grandpa's words, could he be serious about finding someone and go against my will to get me married? I hope he won't do such a thing. If he really wants to get me married with someone, why don't it be Ms. Rees?

Just thinking of her increases my heartbeat. Forget it, I sighed and closed my eyes. Soon I drifted off to sleep.
