Chapter 12

After breakfast we were busy arranging the things in the car for our outing. After arranging the things, we drove to our beach house which is an hour ride.

During the ride my brothers were talking about random stuff and I did not pay any attention to them. My mind wandered to Bryant.

I observed a few things in him in these four days, that he doesn't talk to anyone unless it is work related. He doesn't even talk to any lady doctor casually and gives them replies either by a curt nod or single word. I found it interesting that he minds his own business unless it is about a patient. I don't know why but I feel like he is not the one he shows to the world. He is kind and calm because I observed this when he talked to the patients during the checkup. He shows to the world as an arrogant jerk but he is actually kind. I really started admiring him from the first time I attended a surgery with him. He doesn't take any chances with the patient's health and does his job with full concentration.

My chain of thoughts were rudely cut off by my brother's sudden hit on the back of my head.

"Ow!!" I groaned and glared at him. "What is it? Rish" I asked in annoyance.

"I have been observing you from the time we were having breakfast. What happened to you? Why are you zoning out? Is there anything we should know?" He asked a series of questions.

"Nothing" I grumbled. Coming to think of that, I was actually thinking of Bryant today. But don't I hate him? I actually do, then why am I thinking of him the most today? I don't know.

Lee bent to my ear and whispered "You know baby sister you can share anything with us" I didn't answer him and just looked away from him.

What would I tell him that I was thinking of a handsome doctor who is full of himself and doesn't even glance at me. Wait, What?! What did I just say? Why would he glance at me and why do I want his attention?

'TRINE REES, have you gone nuts or what?' my inner self said.

Girl, get a hold of yourself, I thought to myself.

We reached our beach house and took our luggage to our rooms to take a rest. I entered my room and laid on my bed to have a short nap.

I woke up to the knock on my door. I don't know how long I dozed off. I got up from my bed and opened the door. I looked at my brothers "Lunch is ready. Come soon" Lee said. "After that we will go for swimming" Rish added.

"Okay, I will be there in five minutes" I told them and closed the door. I went to the washroom to wash my face to get rid of sleep. I wiped my face with a towel and went to the dining area to have my lunch.
