Chapter 6

Bryant Hamilton

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping. I saw the time at the nightstand and it was only five thirty in the morning. I had a peaceful sleep so I thought of doing a workout. I got up from bed and went to the washroom to brush my teeth and wore my workout clothes. I made my way out of the house and went to the gym room for a workout. Yesterday I couldn't do it as I woke up late and had an early surgery. Today I need to make it up for two days. I did my workout for one hour and made my way inside the house to take a shower.

I took a relaxing shower for twenty minutes and wrapped a towel around my waist and went into the walk-in closet to get ready. I took the black shirt and casual pants and wore it. I buckled my belt and wore my normal brown leather shoes and combed my hair. I took a glance in the mirror and went downstairs by seven to have my breakfast.

By the time I went to the dining hall everyone was present so I greeted them and took my seat. After breakfast, I bid goodbye to everyone and went to my car as the drive to the hospital is thirty minutes.

By the time I reached hospital it was already five to eight, so I parked my car in the parking lot and made my way to the cabin but accidentally bumped into someone as I was checking my mobile for any important messages.

I caught the person on time to avoid falling. I met with the brown orbs which were staring at me. I was totally hypnotized by those eyes and forgot to even make her steady until she brought me out of my trance.

"Sorry" I told her, turned and left from there without even glancing at her. I did not notice that I was holding my breath until I left her. I released the breath and calmed my nerves. Why am I even nervous? I thought to myself. I shrugged it off and went to my cabin and drank a glass of water as my throat went dry. What was that? I did not know what she was doing to me.

I snapped my eyes open to check my surroundings and let my racing heart relax as I am still in my room. I comforted my heart that it was just a dream.

I know what you people are thinking, about my dream right?

Well I had a dream of Mr. Hamilton kissing me. That was a nightmare to me. I don't know why I got that dream but I am happy it was just a dream and not the reality.

I saw the time on the nightstand where my small clock is placed. It is already seven in the morning.

I got up from my bed and went to the washroom to do my daily routine. After a quick shower, I got dressed in a white shirt and black pants to look professional. I left my chocolate brown hair loose on my shoulders. I applied a nude lipstick and looked at the mirror. After I got satisfied with my look I went downstairs to have my breakfast.

"Good morning everyone" I greeted them and took my seat. I placed a sandwich on my plate and poured a glass of juice for myself. I quickly ate my sandwich and drank the juice. "Princess, what's the hurry?" my dad asked. "I am already late dad. I should be in the hospital by eight, I have a surgery to attend" I told him and he just nodded his head. "Drive safely" mom said and I nodded. I quickly grabbed my car keys, purse and mobile and went to my car to go to the hospital.

I reached on time just before five minutes to eight. I parked my car and made my way to get into the hospital but got bumped into someone as I was in a hurry. I was about to fall when two strong hands grabbed me by my waist. I was met with the beautiful black orbs. I immediately struggled against his hold. I got to my feet steadily and heard him say sorry. I turned to see him but he was already gone. I shrugged it off and went to my cabin. I placed my things on the desk and went to Mr. Hamilton to attend the surgery.
