"Hey Mari?" Areum's voice rung from behind the girl, making her turn around. "What's up?" A small smile formed on her lips as she saw the other.
"Uh, can I go with you today? I already talked to Jaehyun and he said it's alright." The younger asked and Mari slowly nodded, slightly confused. "Why are you asking me if Jae allowed you?'
"Uhm, I don't know. I just felt the need to? Because you know, you're my roommate and we spend most of the time together. Ask for your permission is what I thought I should do."
A laugh escaped the older's lips before she walked over to the other girl and embraced her into a hug. "Don't worry about that. I'm always happy if you're with me."
"Oh? I'm really happy around you too!" Areum said before returning the hug. "So is that a yes?" She asked and Mari rolled her eyes playfully. "Of course dumbass. Just go and change."
The younger quickly nodded before running towards her closet to find something she would wear. "Wear something comfortable, we will run around a lot."
"Yes ma'am!"
Some time later the two girls were stood at the entrance waiting for the other participants of today's hunt. "Hey guys!" Areum cheerfully said as her eyes fell onto the three male species running towards them.
"Oh, Areum? You're going with us today?" Doyoung asked and the younger nodded. "Yeah, Jaehyun said it's alright because San and the others weren't around in a while."
"Oh that's nice. Let's go then!" Jungwoo said before placing a hand around Areum's shoulder and leading her towards today's hunting space. "Just, stay safe, okay?"
Mari said to the younger girl to which she nodded, smile plastered on her face. "Yeah, don't worry."

"Guys," Yuta whispered out as he stopped in his steps and crouched behind a bush. His eyes moved around, trying to spot the owner of the scent he just felt. "You feel this?"
He turned towards Jungwoo who slowly made his way towards the newcomer, turning into his wolf form the moment he stopped close to her.
"What's wrong?" Areum asked, worry filled her voice as she tried getting answers to their sudden behaviour. Jungwoo just nudged her with his head, trying to reassure her it's alright.
Mari quickly walked closer to the owner of the newfound smell before realising there's more than one person. A familiar scent hit her nosestrills as panic filled her body.
She did not want Areum to be caught.
Through the pack's telepathy ability, she notified the other three wolfs of the presence before notifying Jaehyun who was back at the camp.
"Areum, come with us two." Doyoung whispered to the girl before taking her hand and quickly running away from the other wolfs. "Whrte the are we going? What's happening?"
The girl's mind was filled with so many questions but they all were left unanswered as they hurried away. Her heartbeat grew as she heard a too familiar voice from where they once where.
She turned her head back to look, to reassure herself that she was wrong but unfortunately, there he was, San was standing right across her roommate.
Breathing was becoming too hard for her as she seemed to not have any air around her, her breaths becoming shallow. She started choking, unable to breathe properly. Her vision became dark because of the lack of oxygen in her body.
Step by step she was closer to losing her consciousness, unable to follow after the two boys and breathe for air at the same time. "Areum? Areum!" Doyoung called for her right before she collapsed and fell into his arms.
He quickly placed her onto the other wolf's back before turning into his wolf form too. Jungwoo quickly reacted and ran towards their base, Doyoung following after him.
"What do you want on our territory?" Mari said the moment the older stepped into her vision. "You mean our territory?" San said as he pointed at his friend.
The girl's eyes fell onto the other figure, a dissapointed sigh leaving her mouth. "Mari, I-" He started but was cut off by the girl. "Save it Seonghwa. You chose your side."
"Mari-" He stepped forward but San put a hand before him to stop him from moving any further. "Seonghwa you know your mission."
The older wolf took a deep breathe in, his blood boiling as he stared into the other's eyes. "San what the fuck?! She's my fucking sister, you can't forbid me from talking to her!"
His words left San speechless, his mouth hanging open as he looked up at one of his best friends. Seonghwa quickly turned towards his sister before running towards her an embracing her into a tight hug.
"Mari, I'm so sorry. I never thought I would be going against you if I went with him. I don't want to fight against you, I miss you so much." He whispered to his sister, tears threatening to fall.
"Hwa-" She stopped herself from speaking before burrying her head into the crook of his neck and locking her hands behind his back. "I miss you too."
"I'm sorry I'm putting you through all of this. I- I don't want to leave you alone, again."
"It's not your fault Hwa. You don't have to apologise."
"Yeah, yeah, I love that you guys are bonding and shit but I seriously want to beat the other guy the fuck up." Yuta mumbled from behind the two, making Mari chuckle.
"I don't think it's necessary. They will leave our territory now. Right, San?" Mari's stare burned holes through the other's skull, making him feel intimidated by her.
"Fuck why is she so tall." San whispered tp Seonghwa as he walked back. "Yeah, we will be leaving now." The older out of the two said before putting a hand around San's shoulder and leading him away from the other two.
"I bet I felt Areum's smell here though." San whispered to the older before letting out a sigh. "I miss her."
