Chapter 27 - Oh no

Mari's day, started amazing. Note the sarcasm. After she woke up to the sound of her alarm breaking her eardrums, she almost spilled the water, usually standing on her nightstand, over her phone and all over the wall.

With a load of curses and groans, she got up from her bed and walked over to her bathroom. Only to find out there was no water.

"Seonghwa!!" She yelled out before making her way towards the other's room, only to find a note saying how he had to go back to San's house and won't be coming back for a while.

Realising there's no point in trying to wash herself nor make herself any proper breakfast because there is no water and she can't boil eggs, aka the only breakfast appropriate food in her fridge. She plopped down into her bed, sending a message to Taeyong.

Tea man

MARI:
hey tyong, i'm gng
come over to the pack
house for a few days
because there is somehow
no water in my house🙂

MARI:
is that okay?

TAEYONG:
Hey! Yeah that's perfectly
fine! You're always welcome
here Mari and yk that so u
don't even need to ask me
beforehand, okay? I'll
make sure there is some
breakfast left for you:)

MARI:
THANK YOU<3

Then she texted her boss.

Bossman

MARI:
Hello, I am sorry
but due some private
circumstances I am unable
to come to work today. I will
make sure to work some other day
to fill the missing hours from today!

BOSS:
That's okay Mari, don't
worry! If you need help with
anything just let me know:)

MARI:
Thank you sir.

So, she quickly put something on before putting her necessary things into a backpack and swinging it over her shoulder. Before she left she locked the doors of her house and walked over to her car.

"I swear to god if you don't work, I'll officially end myself." Mari mumbled before turning the key and the sound of the engine roared through the woods. "HELL YES!!" She yelled out before leaving towards the pack's house.

Upon her arrival, Johnny opened the gates, allowing her to enter the yard. A small smile stood on the older's face as he waited for her to park her car.

As soon as Mari left the vehicle, Johnny embraced her into a tight hug which she gladly returned. "I missed you! How have you been?" He asked as they walked towards the dining hall and she just shrugged.

"The usual. I go to work, get back, sleep and repeat. How about you?"

"It's been good. Kind of lonely without you around but we managed, somehow. How about the girl, uh, Areum?" He asked and she hummed.

"She's back with her soulmate in Vampdom and they're doing great, I assume, we haven't heard from each other for a few days."

"Did you find your soulmate yet? I know you were so against it back when you were still living here."
