"It's really boring today or is it just me?" Sapphire spoke up, making Mari flinch. "Huh? Oh- Oh yeah. I don't know what to do without paperwork and Renjun isn't around today. Probably because of everything happening at Vampdom with San."

"Hey Mari, while we have time how about we talk?"

"About what?" Mari raised a brow as she leaned back in her chair into a more comfortable position. "About Renjun and what's happening between you two."

"I mean- You're saying that he's our mate but until we get any kind of soulmate bond, I don't want to rush it. You know why." A sigh left her mouth as she pushed a hand through her hair.

"And by the fact that we've been seeing each other at work for like half a year and still got no sign. I don't think we are soulmates. So until I find my soulmate I'm not going to claim him as my mate."

A loud thump from the corner of the room made the girl's head whip towards the source of the sound - seeing one of the boxes filled with glass bottles laying down on the floor with it's lid open and some bottles broken, scattered across the floor.

A groan left her mouth as she moved towards the mess, carefully picking up the pieces of glass across the floor. "But if you take too long it will hurt him."

"Saph you know how hurt he, I and everyone around us will get if we are not soulmates." Mari argued back as she started agressively taking the glass shards.

The idea of it happening made her remember all the suffering she went through. And Sapphire knew it all but she still continued insisting. "But Mari-"

A loud scream rung through the warehouse as blood started oozing from the girl's hand. "Fuck!" She yelled out before tears started flowing down her face. She broke down at the worst place possible but she couldn't take it anymore.

Carelessly she brought her hands up to her face, hiding her tear stained cheaks that were now covered in blood. Sobs filled the air as the girl sat alone on the cold floor, surrounded by broken bottles, juice spilled around them.

Suddenly she felt someone pulling her hands away from her face and carefully removing the glass stuck inside the bleeding wound.

Embarassed by her state she closed her eyes, hoping that maybe if she didn't see the person maybe they would dissapear.
