⇀3RD PERSON POV
"Hey Mari?" Areum spoke up. The first time the older had heard her speak since the incident in the forest. "Yeah, what's up?"
"I want to leave the pack." Her simple sentence made Mari go crazy. She can't leave by herself. She can't let her leave. She's safe here.
"W-What- Why?!" Her shock was not only visible on her face but also heard in her voice as she stuttered the moment her mouth opened. "I- I'm scared that the pack is in danger because of me. I don't want you guys suffering because of me."
"What do you mean? We will be alright! They confirmed that in the forest that day. They won't enter our territory especially not to cause trouble."
"You don't understand Mari! I keep having nightmares ever since that day! The sight of them entering our base and attacking everyone. San standing in front of me and ripping your body into parts! It's fucking terrifying!"
"Areum-" Mari's face softened after hearing the younger. "Why didn't you tell me about the nightmares?" She asked as her legs moved across the room towards the younger before sitting on her bed besides her.
"I- I didn't want to bother you. But I seriously can't do this anymore. Constant waves of anxiety drowning my body and these nightmares- It just keeps getting worse. I can't even eat properly!
Ever since that day the hunting results are worse and worse! If it continues like this the whole pack is going to starve. And it's all my fault. I don't deserve to eat when it's my fault it's all falling down in shambles."
"It's not your fault Baby. The hunting is thought at this time of the year. It's becoming hotter every day and the heat is too much for both us wolves and the animals we are hunting. Neither of us can stay out for too long."
"I still want to move out. I can't sleep knowing San and his friends could break in and murder everyone." Areum said before pushing her face into her hands. "You really think San would do something like that?"
"At this point, I think he's capable of anything." Her words made the older girl bite down on her lip. "I- I'll talk to Taeyong about it, okay? If the conversation with him goes well then we can move out tomorrow already."
"What do you mean we? I'm going by myself! I can't bring myself to get you into danger." The younger quickly stated, her stare filled with a mixture of worry and sadness.
"Baby, Seonghwa is always with San and I know for a fact he wouldn't hurt me. Don't worry, I'll be alright." Mari assured the girl with a small smile as she placed a hand on her shoulder.
"I'll go speak to Taeyong about it. If he agrees then we can live in my house." She said before getting up and walking towards the doors. "Your house? What-?"
"I used to live there with my parents and Seonghwa some time ago."
"What about your parents? Will they mind if I live there with you?" Areum asked, a bit concerned. The older girl's smile dropped for a second before she faked another one. "They're not home, don't worry about it. It would be just the two of us."
"Alright." Mari nodded her head at her roommate before turning the doorknob. "Wait Mari!" She stopped in her footsteps as she turned to look at Areum. "Thank you. It really means a lot to me to have you."
"Don't worry Baby, I love being there for you."

"I think this is all my stuff." Areum said with a small nod as she packed her stuff into the backpack she's been having with her since she was taken from Vampdom. As she ran away she didn't have many clothes nor other things with her, not even her phone.
"Yeah, great. Now help me with my shit because I bet I don't fit into any clothes that are left home." Mari mumbled to which Areum quickly nodded. "Okay, what do you need help with?"
An hour had passed and the two girl are finally finished with packing. They're laying on their beds as a fan blew from the corner of the room. A sudden knock made the younger raise her head.
(Ngl i struggled with the word raise idk if i wrote it right-)
"Oh, Tyong. What's up?" Mari asked, cocking a brow at the older. "I just remembered that I'm in the group with the others and I thought maybe Areum wanted to text them before you leave? Just don't make it too obvious that it's you."
"Oh?! Yeah sure! Ohmygod thank you! I never thought of that!" Areum rambled as she took the phone from the guy and sat down onto her bed before entering the groupchat. "I'll leave now, let me know when you're done."
"I'll go sleep, I'm too tired to even keep my eyes open." The older girl told her roommate who quickly nodded her head before typing something. "Wake me up around two, I've got to go to work."
"Okay!"
