Power rangers: Nature Force

Episode 18: The Sun Rises part one

Inside of her temple Artemis was feeling all sorts of negativity. She wasn't sure what it was but it wouldn't leave her alone, in fact her head began hurting. It seemed as if she was experiencing a mirgrane, something she didn't know she could even have. However she kept all these to herself, and dropped her worries for the time being. There were more important things to worry about.
"What are up to Chrysalis?" She asked as if she was expecting an answer.

At the same time the rangers, were training in the woods once again. Chrysalis hadn't sent any monsters in almost two weeks and most of the team was worried, that she had something big planned.
"Hey you guys I'm concerned, " Kristina said as she sparred against her sister. The blue ranger turned away from the fight much to Kyra's disappointment.
"About what?" Kyra asked trying to continue the fight. However even while distracted her older sister still blocked her attacks with ease.

"I mean its been so quiet these past few days, " Kristina explained.
"I hear you and its not natural for Chrysalis to take a holiday, " Shela commented from her spot. She had been engrossed in a book about Greek mythology, most notably the ones with Apollo. The purple ranger couldn't explain it, but she felt that something bad was going to happen to the Sun God.
"You're right, " Johnny agreed.
"What do you think she is up to?" Emma asked.
"Nothing good I bet, " Merry responded.

"I agree with Kristina, Shela,  Johnny,  Emma and Merry" Julian said. "Oh and probably Kyra, " he continued. He was attempting to uplift the tense shift in the area, since it felt like everything was getting quite dark. Before any of the rangers could say something more a bunch of changelings appeared out of nowhere.
"What how did they find us?!" Emma asked as she fought off a group of them.
"Doesn't matter we have to fight them off, " Johnny responded taking charge.

The rangers quickly got to work, as by now they were used to fighting off the changelings unmorphed.
"Hey ugly look over there!" Shela yelled to three changelings. The insect like creatures feel for her trick and they looked behind them. Shela used that as change to send a series of punches at them and give the first changeling a swift kick in the stomach. The other rangers also fought off the remaining changelings with marital arts, however more then appeared so the rangers decided to morph.

"I think Chrysalis just sent us a party invitation, " Merry commented.
"Looks like we need to crash it, " Kyra said.
""I think it's time we raise the stakes, follow my lead! " Johnny said pressing the crystal on his bracelet and the others followed.
"Enivoromental Source, Nature force!" The team called out. Once the rangers morphed they took out their weapons and used them to destroy the changelings.
"Come and get me glowly eyes!" Emma said using her lunar spear against them. The insect like creatures attempted to fight back, but Emma was quicker. "Alpha call!" She called out.

Her pack of black wolves tore the changelings apart like they were food.
"Don't look so sad, " Kyra said changing her scythe into a sniper rifle so she could shoot the changelings down. The pink ranger was successful and once more tried to attack Kyra destroyed them with her scythe. "You put all insects to shame, " she commented.
"Owl talons!" Shela called out causing the arrows to turn into claws from the tips of her gloves. They proved quite affective while taking on a bunch of changelings. After that she used her star crossbow to finish off any that remained.

"Liberty Katana!" Kristina yelled as she struck a bunch of changelings down along side Julian wielding his panther daggers.
"I'm sick of your swiss cheese look, " Julian mocked once the changelings began retreating in fear. However they didn't get far as Merry blasted them with her white tiger spetor, and Johnny took out the last of them with his dragon sword. Once the fight was over the rangers spotted a small figure heading towards them. Thinking it was a monster the rangers prepared to attack, but were suprised when they saw Yan.
