Episode 19: The Sun Rises part two

Previously on power rangers Nature Force
Chrysalis hasn't attacked for two weeks and Artemis was feeling all sorts of negativity. Yan appears after months of being gone and he claims his betrayal was due to an enchantment. The rangers welcome him back save for the Merele sisters who don't trust him. Yan turns out to be still working with Chrysalis and is now the Crimson ranger. He poisons Artemis, destroys the temple and make a portal so that Chrysalis could enter the temple of Light.

The rangers are caught off guard when a bunch of changelings after a ton of red portals appear all around them in the woods.
"Oh come on." Julian complained.
"Where did they all come from?" Emma asked.
"Forgot that I'm worried about those red portals." Merry responded.
Shela and Kristina look at the red portals with suspicion while the other rangers take out their crystals. The army of changelings was beyond numbers and some of them even had blue armor with sharper teeth.
"Looks like Chrysalis updated her goons." Kyra said.

"Let's make them drop like flies then, its morphing time!" Johnny exclaimed.

"Enivoromental Source, Nature force! " They all yelled causing their crystals to glow, a flash of their color shown on them forning their suits, then the animal bonded to their crystal formed their helmets. When the morphing sequence was complete, the changelings looked at the the team in shock wondering how a bunch of humans suddenly had such power and were now wearing sleak suits with a silver slash and animal themed helmets.

"Nature Force Red ranger! " Johnny called out

"Nature Force Black ranger! " Emma shouted
"Nature Force Yellow ranger!" Julian called out
"Nature Force White ranger! " Merry shouted
"Nature Force Purple ranger! " Shela yelled

"Nature Force Blue ranger! " Kristina called out

"Nature Force pink ranger! " Kyra yelled.
the changelings we're fighted by this at first  but then began attacking the rangers. The seven of them fought the army of changelings with their weapons, special powers, and everything else they could. Yet the burnt swiss cheese insects just kept appearing.
"Alpha call!" Emma called out summoning her army of wolves. They attacked the changelings near her and when one tried to attack her from behind. Kristina saw this and used her Liberty Katana to burn the sucker.
"Hands off her you puny bug!" She called out.

"Thanks girl." Emma said.
"Don't thank me yet, we still have a lot of fans." Kristina responded.
The rangers kept on fighting until it was clear that there were too many changelings. As the foot soldiers had managed to cut through their special attacks, and were slashing their suits.
"There are too many we need to regroup." Shela groaned as she struggled against changelings who were pulling on all of her limps while she flew.
"Retreat!" Johnny called out.
The rangers all teleported away to escape to the temple, to form a plan only to find it had been attacked. They demorphed and looked around for their mentor or whoever attacked her.
"What happened in here?" Kyra asked.

There was no sign of Artemis but things had been knocked over, cracked or straight up broken. So she was here recently, Shela noticed a bunch of green goo on the floor.
"Guys look over here!" She called out. The other rangers ran to her and saw the strange green substance.
"Its scorpion venom." Kristina said after sniffing it.
"How is this even possible?" Merry asked.
No one seemed to have an answer and along with their base being attacked. Their mentor was gone, and they weren't sure what do. The rangers talked with each other about who could have possibly attacked Artemis and taken her. Shela believed it was Yan who had betrayed them again, but while most of her teammates believed her. What power could he have possibly gotten, to defeat Artemis, when beings like Sombra feared her.
