Episode 2: Forces of Nature part two

Chrysalis wandered around the graveyard in the darkness of the night. She had been trapped under ground for so long and now it was time for her revenge agaisnt that pesky Artemis.
"My queen the army is ready to launch an attack should we... " Sombra questioned but she cut him off

"No, we need to strike in a way that she won't see coming. Tomorrow at first light I will send only one solider to find the crystals, then I will use them to take over the world! " She declared and then spotted an old abandoned castle that was mostly in ruins, but it was the perfect place for her to hide her army and herself. 

"Have our troops gather there, I want to have a front row seat to the end of Artemis's era and the beginning of mine. " She said pointing at the old ruins and then an evil smile spread across her face. 

Artemis was able to sense her old enemy's return and she knew, she could wait any longer. She had to find a group of mortals that we're worthy enough to weld her crystals or all of the earth was doomed. So she decided to put mortals to the test, using her powers she changed her appearance into that of a young girl and went onto a deep river with nothing but a few planks of wood. Whichever mortal risked their life to save a girl they didn't know, would be worthy of welding one of her crystals.

"No one told me it was going to be seventy degrees today. " Johnny said clearly sweating under the hot sun
"Hah and you all make fun of me for taking my sunglasses everywhere. " Kristina said giving him a smirk and taking off her glasses for a spilt second.
"Don't push it, your the one who complains about it being hot all the time. " Julian said teasing her, and she gasped pretending to be offended.

"So what kind of museum are we going to again? " Yan asked
"Its a science museum, " Emma stated and Yan held back a groan he didn't really like science that much but he enjoyed spending time with his friends.
"It's going to be so fantastic, I'm so excited to show you guys everything. " Kristina exclaimed and then began ranting about animal facts she knew. Shela sighed and put her earbuds in,
"Is she ever going to stop? " Merry asked tapping Shela's shoulder
"Nope once she gets going nothing can stop her. " Shela said however before anyone could say anything else a loud scream echoed in their ears,

"What was that? " Emma asked looking around for the source of the scream, her friends looking around as well until they noticed a young girl on the nearby river and she was going to drown.
"Oh my gosh! " Shela yelled
"Stop standing around you guys we have to help her! " Kristina declared and no one disagreed with her and wasting no time in running over to help the girl.
"I'm scared, " the girl whispered clearly terriffed.
"It's okay we're going to help you, " Merry said softly to the girl trying to calm her down.

"We need to form a chain, " Johhny said taking charge and all his friends obeyed forming a chain with Julian at the end holding his hand out to the girl.
"Grab my hand, " he said and the girl at first was hesitant but then took his hand.
"Thank you, " she said to all of them as soon as she was safely on dry ground again.
"You all risked your lives to save a stranger, why you didn't even know me? " She asked as she was clearly stunned that a group of young adults would do such a thing.

"Because it was the right thing to do, " Yan said like it was the simplest thing in the world which caused the girl to smile.
"I'm glad you all feel that way, " she said and then Shela realized there was something very familiar about this girl. It wasn't until she noticed that the crown on her head with a small moon that she realized why. It was Artemis, clearly in disguise but still it was her. She bowed showing her respect,
"Um sis what are you doing? " Kristina asked confused by her older sister's behavior. Shela elbowed her.

"Show some respect that's Lady Artemis, " she whispered and Kristina suddenly became incredibly flustered and couldn't find her voice.
"You'll have to excuse my sister she gets really nervous around her favorite goddess. " Shela said placing her hand over Kristina's mouth so she wouldn't say anything stupid.
"Is she one of my admirers? " Artemis asked
"Yep your basically her idol, " Merry stated while the rest of the group was still trying to wrap their heads around what was going on. The goddess smiled at this but she had no time to dwell on that, she snapped her fingers and transported them all to her temple. Everyone looked around in amazement at the action, as the temple was decorated with quartz pillars and shelves full of weapons.
