Being late to my own graduation was not in my plans today. I was expecting to be there straight at nine o'clock for seating, but the fact that I didn't have my own car and had to ride with my bestfriend was the problem.

"Can you please hurry your ass Domonique! We are already thirty minutes late and you know I hate being late!"

He laughed and I rolled my eyes.
"Why the fuck you worried about being late, I'm the one who gotta do this fucking speech so just bring yo' ass outside!"

I hung up my phone and slid it in the pouch that belonged to my black purse. I really wanted to cuss him out and call him every name in the book, but I decided against it because nothing was going to stop us from fighting and missing a big day in our lives.

I mean we were graduating college at UCLA and this was the biggest accomplishment yet for the both of us. I remembered me not even believing that I had made it in because I wasn't so focused on my books, but my hard work in my last year of high school payed off. Now I'm graduating with the people that mean the world to me.

I finished locking up my apartment and turned around to see my bestfriend Dominique posted up with a pair of Ray Bans on causing me to roll my eyes.

"What the fuck you staring at girl? You was rushing me and now that I'm here you walking like some wrong wit' yo' damn legs. Hurry the fuck up!"

I jumped inside of the passenger side and sat my purse down on the floor with a smile on my face. No one could ruin this moment for me, I was fucking graduating after four long years in college, and I was getting my degree so that I could be a journalist for the company of my dreams.

Sometimes I couldn't even believe that I was doing what I was doing. I never liked to do much in high school and I just happened to be able to do a good ass job at writing.

"Why you smiling so fucking hard, B?"

I looked over at him and rolled my eyes once again.

"Can you ever stop cussing every five minutes and I'm smiling because I'm happy is something wrong with that Dominique?"

He looked over at me and I smirked at the mustard that was hanging from the side of his lip. I licked my finger and wiped the mustard off of his face making his light skin turn a shade darker.

"Why the fuck you did that, bitch. You know I don't like that shit?"

"Because their was mustard hanging from the side of your lip. I was just trying to help you so you want get up on the stage with mustard hanging from the side of your lip, dumbass."

He pushed my head over.
"Man whatever. Don't do that shit again."

He started to look in the mirror as I gazed at his light brown skin that had his light brown eyes covered with a pair of Ray Bans. I realized that he had the outfit I picked for him on and smiled because he looked handsome.

"What you smiling for?"
I looked up at him and kept my smile.

"I'm just happy you wore the outfit I picked out for you that's all."

Domonique rolled his eyes and looked back on the road. I know he was probably talking about me like an ass in his mind right now, but I wasn't tripping because I was graduating today and also I was turning my ass up tonight.
