Rose, Reagan

"Shit, I've gotta go home", I spoke.
"How could you let me oversleep Rome?"

It was going on twelve at night, all I planned on doing was having a little quickie with him and then make it home by atleast ten oclock. I had no curfew but you never knew how my parents were feeling and plus I hadn't really finished packing for the trip.

"Shit, you let yourself oversleep, but you really gotta leave baby?"

I rolled my eyes as he grabbed onto my leg trying to grab me but I pushed him off of me looking around his floor for my sweat pants.

I slipped them on and looked over at his mirror on his bedroom wall to make sure the hair that I always received from aftersex was how it was before I came.

Afterwards, making sure my hair was fluffed I turned to him.

"Yes I really gotta leave because I have to finish packing."

He nodded his head at me while looking down at his phone making me scoff because he had just asked me why I was leaving but now he was back on the phone.

"Oh alright, lock the door fa' you leave."

I didn't even reply as I walked off with my shoes in my hand and headed over to my home once I left his duplex. I knew I was about to get yelled at about me not finished packing and also because of me not having on this or that; but I didn't care.

Lowkey, I was a little bit too focused on how Romeo just basically dodged me before I left out. I know that we aren't in a relationship, I respect that, but I still deserve respect from him when our families were basically allies.

The duplex that I was just previously in was the apartments that his family owned, and he owned one apartment in as well which we had just got done fucking around in.

I don't think that our parents would care if we dated, I think that they would be wars tic about it since our parents are tight as business partners and everything above that as well, all I wish is that Romeo learns some respect.

I couldn't even get inside of the door of the house before I heard the sound of things being thrown around the house which meant my father had most likely made my mother upset and canceled the trip that she had been planning for about a month; which didn't surprise me.

He was always one to do this or that, without taking anyone else into consideration. It was almost as if I didn't have a father because he was never at home and his respect for things that I needed support for were and still are at an all time low and for my mother things were no different.

I looked in the mirror at myself and twirled around in my pretty dress that mommy bought. It was pink and to match I had to tiara hanging on the too of my head in agreeable with my fit.

"Baby are you ready, everyone's waiting for you?"

I looked up at my mom and smiled.
"Yeah, I'm ready, mommy."

I latched on to my mommas hand and walked downstairs, remembering how my father wasn't their for my eleventh birthday like I wanted him to be.

"I fucking hate you, Alonzo. I hate you so fucking much!"

I knew she was just speaking out of anger and before she could actually kill my father, I grabbed onto her making her drop the electronic out of her hand and collapse in my arms.

Her and my father always went through this. It was always the same. He was one of those people who promised something over and over again, but never did it. I had been lost all faith in my father, while my mother continued to believe any and everything that he said.

Now, because she had to trust his word over mine, whom told her that he wasn't going to really take us on a family vacation, had to sit here and hold my mother as she cried in my arms.

So much for a trip on Spring Break.

Her mother in MM.
